A boon to anyone who has difficulty in getting in and out of bed and once in, turning over and moving about.It provides a solid, fixed hand hold that's firm enough to put your weight against as an anchor to aid manoeuvring.Despite the instructions, being a direct translation from the Chinese (I assume) it's fairly easy to assemble. The strap that attaches to the under mattress part holds the device firmly in place. Height adjustments for both the under-mattress extension and the hand support give a good range at fixed intervals via the hole positions in the upper and lower vertical sections. Spring loaded pins and 'C' section clips fix the height positions while a 4mm allen key is the only tool required as everything else slots and clicks into place.The detachable bag is another useful feature and is big enough to accomodate for phone, tablet, drinks bottle, etc.I gave 4 stars for easy assembly as the instructions could be better.

Fantastic product, easy to assemble, very sturdy. Got for my mam as she was stuck on bed. She uses it and says how lost she would have been without it.Is out of bed without my help still using the rail.Very sturdy. Very fit for purpose. I bought what I thought was a bedrail I've had a stroke, it was too high in length you could feelit under the matrress . Then I found out you you couldn't return it I can't afford to lose the money, it's disgusting.

I did research on what I would need when I had a shoulder replacement on my dominant side. My surgery was in November, and all the things I purchased and corporation this item has been and continues to be the most helpful. If I did not have this, I would not be able to get in my bed. It is amazing and I am deeply grateful I recommended this bedrail. it is not large and it is just the right height that I can grab it with my mom and Dominic and swing myself around into my bed. I think I'm just gonna keep it there for quite a while. The most difficult thing is making a bed around it. I highly recommend using this if you are having any kind of shoulder replacement surgery or if you are experiencing difficulty getting in and out of bed.
