One good thing is the earpads which are rather soft and big and creates a great seal even if the clampingforce of the headband itsel f is rather loose.The cable of this can is also very thing and does not help the overall flimsy build to look any better.Well why would you buy these then? Well they sound impressive!I own alot of headphones and amplifiers, all of them costs alot more then this set..but not all of them are as fun to listen to as these.I will compare them to the Audio Technica ATH-M50 which is a very popular headphone that will please the average crowd looking for a bassy headphone with somewhat great buildquality.The panasonics put out an impressive bass, its very deep and throws a great punch. The bass is more exposed compared to the m-50 which says quite alot. But the quality of the bass can be rather boomy and "wet" sometimes.The mids are quite good although not great. Just as the M-50 the mids are recessed..Although compared to the M50 they have a warmer tone and i would prefer the panasonic for music like blues or other music with alot of vocals.The highs are rather good compared to the massive bass. They are a bit more toned down compared to the M50s but still they might provide a more "true" and comfortable sound.Bottom line.If you want massive bass and a headphone that will do hip-hop, electronic and dubstep just right well this might be a bargain.But if you want good clarity and a more balanced sound you will have to look elsewhere.The same goes with the buildquality. If you sit at home listening to music they will hold up. But i doubt they will take a beating in a gym bag or when snowboarding for example.I would say that the headphones impressed me..I had very low expectations when i put them in the basket..Turned out they are better then what it looks like. And for the DIY:ers they may provide a good bass for modding. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ VERY Impressive sound for the price *by A***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 December 2011* These Panasonic RP-HTF600E-S headphones are quite frankly, amazing for the price. I first heard of these headphones on a forum, but never ordered as I really needed to try them first. However, with Christmas looming, I bought a pair of these headphones for my brother's Xmas. Well...I couldn't help myself and opened them to (honourably!) do a burn-in. Plugged them in and had a listen... They are very sweet sounding.My background is in music as a singer, guitarist, home recording hobbyist, etc. etc. I also studied to be an audio engineer and have been messing around with recording long before and long since. Hopefully this helps tell you who I am and where my interest in this product really lies.I have compared these headphones to others I own like the the Denon AH-D2000, Beyerdynamic DT-250, etc. They held up quite favourably, in all honesty. However, don't get me wrong, they could never surpass the Denon set! No way. But...they do get pretty close.I think they only lack an expansive soundstage and perhaps they are a little forward sounding. But only ever so slightly. Perhaps the latter note is personal taste. However, something I would definitely change are the ear pads. They are a little plastic-y and stick to the head a bit when hot. I have seen other owners saying that they changed the stock ear pads for the DT250 velour ear pads, which seems like a nice idea as I definitely like the feel of those! My last niggle on these would be the build and overall look - again, a bit light and plastic-y. But maybe that's unfair to them as, when worn, you don't really notice due to the awesome sound :PFinally, I believe in these headphones so much that, I'm willing to sell all three pairs of my Beyerdynamic DT-250s and replace them with three pairs of these Panasonic headphones. I am really surprised and quite taken with how they sound. Just a shame that this pair must still go to my brother for Xmas! lol So, I guess what I'm trying to say here is, if you're pondering over these headphones - don't hesitate - buy them now while they're still this cheap :) Money well spent and surely one of the best purchases I've made in a long while. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely stunning. *by A***Z on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 May 2018* I'll say right away; I'm no audiophile or sound engineer, just a guy who knows decent sound when he hears it! These are only my second ever pair of over-ear headphones, my first were JVC which lasted 20 years and were battered to hell when finally one of the 'cans' died! I shopped around for a while-I wasn't sure I wanted wireless with all the charging and buttons on the cans themselves and all the extra frills etc. I'm SO glad I spotted these. Nice big ear pieces go almost completely over the whole of the ear, they're soft and very comfortable with little itching/sweating even after extended periods I've found. They look stylish and have a lot of maneuverability (supposedly good for DJ-ing). Nice long wire from only the left side, larger size jack plug included. I cannot stress enough how wonderful they sound, I have never heard my music sound so clear and rich in quality before. I have used them on my old stereo system, my laptop, and my Mp3 player. All work brilliantly and changing between equaliser presets really shows of their capabilities. The bass is phenomenal but not overpowering with the presets and volumes I listen at. They aren't noise cancelling, but I'm not sure that's something I want anyway. There is only low sound that 'spills out' to the surrounding area--don't use them in a library, otherwise they're fine! There is only one small criticism and that's the headband. A bit of silly design really, when adjusting there are these buttons on the sides...…..which serve no purpose to my knowledge! I thought they would 'lock' the adjustment in place but they don't at all. Not a problem though as it's easy enough to adjust but stiff enough to stay in place when putting them on/taking them off, and comfortable too.
