Guitar Strings
These are by far the nicest and roundest sounding strings I have ever had on my Martin. I usually use phosphor bronze varieties but these are bett in my opinion. Will defo buy again.

Good tone,corrosion resistant,long long life.
I like these strings for all of the above reasons.I like every guitarist i have met HATE changing strings which has to be done regularly because sweaty fingers are acidic and cause corrosion which along with dirt increases mass and kills tone. The pure nickel winding on a tinned steel core do not electrically react with each other. The first set i used i changed after six weeks, only to find the new set sounded the same-i had changed them too soon.I do not like the fact that extra care must be taken when putting them on because the round steel core means the outer winding can loose tension if they are trimmed before a good amount of tension is applied to the string. The outer winding can slip and kill tone. Why martin do this i do not know, all of their other strings are wound on a hexagonal core.A good string that lasts ages and at a good price, what's not to like?

Wonderful tone.
You don't buy these strings for long lasting brightness and durability - go to Elixir if you want invincible strings. You buy these for the tone. And these are the best sounding strings I've played. At first they're nice and bright and rich, then they age like fine wine! The more you play them, the better they sound. They get to a nice woody, vintage tone after about a month of playing. Definitely the best strings I've used, and after trying Gibson's, D'Addarios, Elixirs, I think I'll only ever use these from here on out.The only drawback was a string snapping when tuning down after about a month and a half of playing them, but I can easily look past it for the tone these bring.

Just get better with playing
Fitted 6 months ago to my Tanglewood TW4 Koa. Recommended strings were Elixirs, but I found the G string became fluffy after a couple of months. I've had the Monels on for 6 months. Wonder if it's time to re-string soon, but I'm hesitating as I think the sound has become warmer over time. Easy fingering as well, though there are a few more squeaks than with the Elixirs. Mainly finger-picking, but I also like the gentle warm sound when strumming. Maintain their tuning pretty well, despite living in an old cottage with variable humidity.Definitely hooked.

My FAVOURITE set of guitar strings 🤩🤩🤩
The media could not be loaded. These produce such a warm & vintage sound! I love how they sound with my Martin Guitar. They produce a deep & rich sound. They’re easy on my fingers. The longevity of these strings is immaculate. Excellent playability & tuning. They’re less susceptible from breaking.

Sound flat
Just to try something different on my Martin 00028. I use Martin phosphor bronze light and really like the Eric Clapton ones. These sounded so dull and flat. I took them off after 1 day. Now, there is a huge debate about strings on line similar to what oil to use in a classic car or what brand of tyre on a motorcycle. It is just personal choice.

Simply the best strings
I've tried a lot of different strings on my hummingbird. Didarios (all types) are always clattery and metallic. John Pearce nickels are too wooly. These are just right; a nice bit of twang and sparkly, with plenty of bass and depth. I've put them of 3 different guitars (Gibson, Taylor, Cort) and they are just by far the be best sounding strings on all of them.I almost feel obliged to buy a Martin guitar, given how good their strings are ;)

Monel is the best!
The combination of tone and durability can’t be beat! Way better than bronze strings.

Great Improvement
I had already put some extra lights on my Martin 000-16 Streetmaster and they didn't seem to make too much difference, but seemed slightly easier to play bar chords. However, these (lights) made a huge improvement on my Gibson J-15. The low E string and A string always sounded muffled with any strings I tried. This guitar is heavier and maybe more sturdier built. I didn't want mediums because they're too hard for me to play. It now sounds better than when I bought it new. Originally, I had decided to try them on my Gibson more to see if it would be easier for me to do bar chords, because the strings I had on them, were just too stiff. My Gibson will now see a lot more playing time and I'm going to stick with these strings from now on.

My Go-To
I find these strings to make my guitar sound more balanced and the tone suits me more....for an acoustic sound I prefer from a guitar. I use these on everything from a 1957 Gibson archtop, to vintage Takamine, and newer dreadnaughts. If I work on a guitar for a friend, I put these strings on. The most obvious difference was when I put them on a relatively cheap Dean Acoustic solid Spruce top cutaway for my nephew. Night and day difference in tone on that guitar, but I also did a setup and cut bridge slots for a better angle.

Excelente Sonido
Las uso para mi Martin DRJR y me encanta el sonido que le da, hace que se sienta como un guitarra enorme con muchos bajos pero excelente definición, resalta ese sonido maderoso pero al mismo tiempo da una sensación de guitarra vintage. 100/10

Have a great sound
I have always used Martin strings con all my guitars but this the first time I have used the Luxe type and I am very pleased at this point with their sound. If they have a decent life span I will most definitely use them again and I do recommend you give them a try.
