So I'm not an audio professional but I was having a problem on days when I'm in the office which can get very noisy and the last straw was when I was trying to lead a meeting while sitting opposite someone who normally talks quite loud (whereas I am usually softly spoken) and the noise cancelling decided to filter out my voice to pick up theirs instead. I started doing some research into different kinds of headsets and also microphones, initially I thought about getting something like those giant airline headsets but I wasn't enamoured by the idea as I don't really like over-ear headsets. I then stumbled onto some posts about different kinds of microphones started looking into directional / shotgun microphones as a possible alternative. After watching, reading and listening to god knows how many discussions and reviews of different microphones I settled on this one. What really swayed me was the fact that it could be powered by usb c and could be used wirelessly - although sadly it does not use Bluetooth, it connects to a separate device that you plug in to a 3.5mm port. Other selling points were the ability to adjust the gain on the microphone itself, the vibration reducing mount and the case it all comes in. Now that I've been using it for a little while I can tell you that it's fantastic! It picks my voice up crystal clear even though I'm softly spoken and even when I'm in a noisy office and sitting near people who are naturally loud talkers. It doesn't completely filter out noises from elsewhere, but they are muffled in favour of the direction your pointing it and paired with a little desk tripod you can try to angle it so it's pointing directly at your mouth and if possible away from other sound sources. Colleagues have also commented that my audio is CRYSTAL clear, well rounded and sounds "like a podcast" - at least compared to headsets. So all in all while it was not cheap I am glad I bought it and thankful that I am in a position to be able to afford it for what must be a relatively mundane use compared to what the manufacturers must have surely intended.

I've been very impressed by this item. I was looking for something to use as part of a wireless set-up without having to rely solely on wireless lapel mics and this does the job very well. The packaging, build and instructions to the product are very well made. The sound quality is excellent and matches the build quality. They are very easy to set up and can be used straight from the box as mine had about three quarters charge in them. I've used this product filming conferences from the back of a fairly large room with the mic on a stand in the front and I had no issues. I wasn't sure how the battery would hold up and attached a power bank to the mic but the mic itself seems to have a larger battery than the receiver, so I would attach it to the receiver instead if you want more than the 4 hour operating time. Since using this product I have bought another set from Amazon after contacting the company's customer service via their email to check if two could be used simultaneously. They replied very quickly and assured me this would be possible without any interference. I can confirm this worked well. So far so good. I will update this review if I encounter any issues with the product in future.

This microphone has been a game changer for me. I'm a content creator on YouTube (LoveTribeOverland if you care to look me up.) The difference this microphone has made for me with my outdoor video is tremendous. One of the shots we get, is what I call the "campfire shot" where we are sitting around at the end of the day chatting about the day. Before I added this microphone, it was really hard to hear the three (or more) of us. Most wireless lapel mics only allow for two lapel mics, and that would be too fussy to set up... this microphone solved this problem perfectly. You can hear everyone clearly... even when we talk in lower tones.... seriously perfect... and if there is any breeze at all, the dead cat cuts the wind noise beautifully. We also shoot our food preparation (overlanding videos are really just cooking outdoor videos lol).... usually ASMR style, so capturing every little sound while we are preparing food, is as close to smellivision as it gets... it has made our food prep portions of the video quite a bit more immersive. This microphone LIVES on my video camera now. I was worried about battery life, but on my last trip, we were out 5 days and the battery held up the entire trip. I'm seriously impressed and grateful for such a great piece of equipment... the price I paid was WELL worth it.

Lo uso para mi canal de youtube, y es el micrófono más flexible que he tenido, permite usarlo como un micrófono USB con el ordenador, conectado a la cámara directamente y lo más importante por supuesto de manera inalámbrica, permitiéndote colocarlo donde quieras sin necesidad de cables que no hacen más que estorbar. La calidad de grabación es buenísima, no soy ningún experto en audio pero de los micrófonos que he tenido sin ninguna duda es el que mejor sonido me da. Por otro lado el micrófono en si se siente de buenísima calidad y muy bien construido, el transmisor por otro lado, sintiéndose de buena calidad y estando bien construido si que creo que se podría mejorar y es que se siente algo más barato, pero aún así es bueno. En resumen es un micrófono que me encanta y que volvería a comprar si se estropea sin ninguna duda.

Sono stato attratto dalla portabilità di questo microfono e dal fatto che grazie alla modalità wireless non serviva più il lungo cavo che mi portavo sempre dietro. Ebbene tolta una preoccupazione se ne sono aggiunte altre due. La batteria del ricevitore wireless dura poco, e nonostante sia publicizzato come microfono auto-off, questa modalità funziona SOLO in modalità cablata. Quando il microfono è in modalità wireless, sia lui che il ricevitore rimangono accesi e consumano batteria. Il ricevitore si scarica in fretta, se non si è attenti si rischia di rimanere senza audio. Il secondo difetto è che il microfono sia molto silenzioso. Ho usato un altro microfono shotgun prima (rode), e la differenza si nota. Parecchio. Per arrivare agli stessi livelli con il Comica devo alzare al massimo il microfono, il ricevitore e alzare anche il volume della camera. Facendo questo però si sente molto il rumore di fondo. In più c'è un piccolo ritardo quando si è in modalità wireless. Se si monitora l'audio in tempo reale si nota. Immagino sia normale per un microfono wireless. Metto 3 stelle per il prezzo. Costasse meno forse non sarei così deluso. Ma con questo prezzo si può acquistare un microfono cablato di altissima qualità. Non è un brutto microfono, ma mi aspettavo molto di più. Mi piacciono i controlli fisici, molto facili da usare e molto intuitivi. P.S. controllate bene se il microfono è acceso, ho fatto 1h di riprese con il microfono spento e me ne sono accorto troppo tardi.
