Great exhaust!!
did a ton of research before settling on this exhaust...followed the instructions....disconnected the battery for 30 mins, ..i spent $20 on an exhaust hanger removal tool, which made removing the hangers a snap...hardest part was removing the old exhaust...once off, this new one goes on easy. its not obnoxiously loud....it doesn't sound stock, but somewhere in between...there is a slight drone between 40 and 50mph i found if you are going uphill or the engine is "working". but its a "jeep". the drone is def not louder than the wind noise which means you wont hear it on a flat hwy at 60-65 mph....idles quiet and looks great!! :). total install start to finish was 30 mins

Gibson did a very good job in attempting to eliminate the "ricer" sound
Have had mine for a year and a chunk of change now. I have taken my Jeep out into almost every terrain and weather there is. This thing is loud. If you don't want to have to turn up your radio to drown out the noise then I suggest you look elsewhere. I have had no issues with any drop off in power, acceleration, or response. The battery trick just resets your computer to its default settings. I would advise buying a tuner or going somewhere to get your vehicle tuned after installing this as there is a slight change in the way the computer reads the exhaust system after adding this. Gibson did a very good job in attempting to eliminate the "ricer" sound, but it is still there depending on the temperature. Mine has gotten better with time, although this is mostly from changes to the engine and computer, not the exhaust itself. I have not noticed any change in mpg, but why would you buy a Jeep if that is one of your concerns? I guess if you're that joker who waves at other Jeeps from your stock set up then maybe. Overall, this thing looks great, sounds great, and can take some hits from terrain if installed properly (do yourself a favor and weld this on and put some flexibility in your mounting hardware). I will buy in the future if I can ever bring myself to trade my baby in for a new one.

I guess you could say it looks like the shop that put it on didn't finish the ...
As was stated by an earlier review, the left side pipe is lower than the right. It looks really off when looking at the back of the jeep. I guess you could say it looks like the shop that put it on didn't finish the job. They said that's how it's welded together and there's nothing they could do. Also the no drone is also NOT no drone. There IS a drone. Fortunately, Amazon is letting me return for full credit. It's going to be the Corsa.

Perfect for My 2015 Lifted JKU!
This is the second Gibson dual exhaust I have purchased. The first one was for my 2010 Wrangler JKU and I knew as soon as I picked up my 2015 JKU that this was going to be the exhaust for it. I will admit, it is a touch "ricey" but you cannot expect much more from a V6 than what you get from this exhaust. It does a great job of making the sound as throaty as possible and I could not be happier with it. The icing on the cake for me is the fact that it comes in ceramic black which is perfect for my blacked-out JKU. When you look at the Jeep from the back this thing really sets it apart from anything in the parking lot. I do not notice any drone at any speed and I am very happy with the sound it makes. I research everything and this was no exception. Even though I knew I was going to get this I still went through the effort of comparing reviews for this system versus other manufacturers like MBRP, Rugged Ridge, and Magnaflow before landing on a decision to stick with the Gibson. I like the distance between the pipes and sound is perfect. I got an amazing deal on this exhaust since I waited for one to come up for sale on Amazon Warehouse Deals. I saved over a Benji and this was brand new in box and perfect in every way.

Affordable, good sound, great looks, but potential fitment issues.
Overall Impression: For the price, I definitely recommend this for a Wrangler. In my opinion, the sound is very "sporty". It has some deep tone to it at lower RPMs, but once you pass 2k RPM it starts to sound almost like a Porsche. I'm speaking about what I hear from the driver's seat. The sound outside of the car might be different. If I have an opportunity to have someone else drive by me as I'm standing outside of the Jeep, I'll update this review with that impression. Installation/Fitment: So this is where this product lost a couple of stars for me. I installed it myself, and the fitment was a little off until I tweaked the hangers. Perhaps a shop would be able to bend the hanger rods or something to center the pipes under the rear bumper, but mine was noticeably off-center when installed without modification. Also, there is a an index point on the factory pipe that should line up with a notch on the muffler pipe... but mine was off by about a half-inch. If I lined up the point with the notch and left it that way, the right hanger rod would not have gone into the hanger grommet, and the muffler would be tilted high to low from left to right of the vehicle (if that makes sense). Unless I messed something up (possible, but low probability), it seems that this wasn't meant to fit perfectly on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JKUR. Bottom Line: With some ingenuity, experience working on vehicles, and ability to tweak installations to fit your needs; I would still recommend this to someone who wants a relatively affordable way to add a better sound to their Jeep. All said, I would purchase it again.
