Fits 2023 Model Y Long Range
I have a 2023 Model Y Long Range and it fit just fine. It's a little wonky on the rear corners (the wings installed OVER the existing plastic parts) but overall - a great fit. The screws all line up effortlessly. It took me about as long to get the car jacked up as it did to install the plate. The larger bolts were a little trickier to get started, but I got it. I am NOT a mechanic and I was in and out in under an hour. I did strip one of the screws putting it back together... bonehead move on my part (don't get lazy like I did... tighten them by hand - not with a drill). A lot of other reviews had problems with bent corners and such from shipping - mine was pristine, and in good packaging with reinforced edges/corners. I seriously couldn't be more happy about how it arrived, how well it fits and what an improvement it will be over the original plastic. Watch some install videos on YouTube... be VERY careful jacking your 5000lb car that has a huge battery on the bottom. Good Luck! You can do this!(I'll leave my comments for Tesla and their under engineered plastic skid plates somewhere else)

This is the one to buy
I went back and forth about which one to buy. I just about spent $400 on the one from rpmtesla but if you watch their video or look at their pictures. You will see that they leave out the 2 large bolts towards the rear. Just about every one being sold is missing those two bolts if you look at the pictures. This one comes with the two special pocket nuts needed to attach at those two spots. This is a good solid ( just shy of an 1/8 inch thick plate with an 1/8 inch of rubber attached) unit that comes packaged like it is your grandmas fine China. Honestly it would cost more to have the UPS store box this thing the way it comes than what this cost. I'd put money that these are all made in the same factory so don't over pay for another brand that won't come with the two special nuts needed to go through the holes.

Good fit and a breeze to install
I purchased this skid plate to replace Tesla's damaged resin-based panel on my 2018 Model 3. The plate arrived with no damage to the packaging however as another reviewer stated, it was slightly bent on the rear driver's side corner. No matter as it was easily shaped into the proper alignment with the hole using only gentle pressure. The panel is all aluminum with the road-facing side coated with what appears to be the same black polyurethane material used in truck bed liners and the inner side had a thin foam layer adhered to it, most likely for sound dampening.Installation took 10-15 mins tops to install by myself. You will need a 10mm socket for the 8 border screws (and 1 front inset screw) and a 16mm socket for the two larger rear-inset bolts. These two bolts will be replaced with a washer and black flathead screw using an 11mm hex (I couldn't find my 11mm hex so I used a 7/16). I torqued all screws/bolts to only hand-tight.At the time of writing this review, I hadn't driven the car yet but I'm confident I shouldn't have any issues. Might be ideal for me to check the bolts for tightness after that however.Overall, very happy with the ease of installation and the finished appearance.

Perfect replacement - makes car quieter also
Exact fit for my 2018 long range. Came slightly bent during transit but was easy to bend the corner back. Great benefit is my car is not also a little quieter from road noise because of the insulation on the top of the skid plate.

Won’t fit 2023 Austin Model Y
Good quality and well made. Seemed like a good value. Description says it will fit 2023 Model Y. However…the mounting holes do line up but side edge profiles do not. See attached photos. Also has extra metal “ears” that interfere with “cuff plates” behind the front wheels.Return window closed before I could get to installation, so I am out $$.

Witch would you prefer? Plastic or Aluminum.
I have a 2023 Model Y. And after watching a few videos on YouTube I noticed the underside was plastic protecting my battery and all its connections. So any type of road debris could cause damage to any number of things under the car. So I ordered both front and rear panels to protect everything that’s down there. So ask yourself, Witch would you prefer? Plastic or Metal. Plus, after reading some other reviews I saw someone say that the screws were not long enough. You’ll be using the original screws to install the panels. The trick is, get your screws started and in install you’ll need to push up the panel to get some of the screws started. And with tightening the screws down, don’t over tighten. They are grade 5 screws and can snap. Yep one snapped on me. Hopefully you’re mechanically inclined to understand that I’m right about this. Protect what you have these installed and protect your car. Peace out.

Noise Reduction!
Wow, these are nicely made... You will need help installing these. The biggest surprise is the noise reduction from installing both the front and back covers. This kit is great since it includes 2 post bolt nuts that are longer and easier to install with an allen key.

Model Y Skidplate
The first shipment was damaged. The packing is inadequate and the “ears” that project can get bent. I had to send the first one back. The return wirked well without a hitch. The second came in good condition. My grandson had no trouble installing it. I hope that I never get to test it out.
