You haven't lived until you've tasted this malt loaf : )))
During a visit to Newburyport, MA last week we discovered a store that sells only products from Britain. (That in and of itself is a miracle.) So we tried this interesting looking, "squidgy" malt loaf. Well, a slice of this, warmed and topped with butter or clotted butter, is THE most heavenly thing you've ever tasted. If you enjoy American Indian bread, with its rich molasses taste and the little raisins, you will flip over this little loaf of cake/bread/whatever it is. They very small loaves, not too sweet, rich, gooey (or squidgy as the package states) yet not dripping with gooey, more like doughy deliciousness. Just slice the loaf in 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices, top with butter or clotted butter and heat in the microwave for 8 to 10 seconds. It's amazing. I'd give it more stars but....: ))

Itโs good but way too overpriced
I love malt loaf but for the price it isnโt worth it. Especially since you can purchase this in the UK for ยฃ5.
