Not worth 50 dollars, not even close.The air intake works, the "filter" doesn't. There is a structure that *should* be the filter, with filter material, and a pipe that should have water flowing.Nothing happens, and it is not shown nor discussed on the instructional video.This was a gift to my 94 year old grandmother. Now she can't enjoy it because it doesn't function.It's a travesty to charge this amount for a flimsy tank with poor instructions that doesn't function!I would like my money back.

We got this for a Beta fish and it is the perfect size. Only issue was the rocks it came with is a small bag. We had to buy a seperate bag from the store. The pump and filter have done really well about keeping it clean and clear for over a month.

Product came packaged well. Setup was easy. Thin filter is just an alternative which is why it isnt in the setup video. Setup video helps to get everything up and going in about 10 minutes. I added a few extras I had from a previous tank and used my own gravel. The supplied rocks dont cover the bottom enough but I imagine most peoplenwould purchase their own gravel/color they want. The tank itself is thick glass with a nice curved edge. Good all in one product.

Purchased from Amazon September 21. Came well packaged and is perfect size for a Beta to have plenty of water to be happy. Added the rocks, fish toys etc. and water from our local pet store. Got our Beta acclimated and let it rip. Buttoned up the aquarium and pressed the light to on--nothing. dismantled the light from the aquarium, looked it over, nothing stood out as broken etc., plugged it in --nothing. I did not want to empty the tank, rocks, toys and send it back, so we kept it and ordered the Nicrew 7 inch, Multi LED Colored Light from Amazon. Got it in a couple of days, works great is very pretty at night. So....words to the wise--this is a nice, small aquarium that you will also like I'm sure. Just check the light before commencing to put it together.

Pretty tank with everything you need to get started. After about three weeks of, we noticed a leak. The water that leaked out damaged the piece of furniture it was on. We thought it was the tank but turns out the filter sponge was dirty and was causing water to run off the top corner of the lid. Be aware to clean the filter regularly to prevent this. Bad lid design. If you don’t catch this in time you will have a big mess. Purchasing a silicone tray to put under the tank in case we have this issue again.

We started with a few guppies, moved them to a bigger tank and moved a beta in. He has been in residence a little more than a month. The filter is not so powerful that it bothers him, but it seems to work just fine. I am recommending this tank as a starter kit for two or three smaller fish, or one beta.

I loved this tank except for the fact that the light is far too hot and basically raised the temperature in the tank too high. Once I realized this, I turned it off and didn't turn it on again. Unfortunately, it was too late for my poor little Betta. The light in this unit is far too strong and bright if it cannot be on for more than a few hours without overheating. The unit needs a smaller lightbulb.
