Taste was good,honestly taste just like the Sea Salt one.The grinder was packaged well and arrived quickly.I’m not sure if your able to refill.10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Never knew salt could have different flavor. The Himalayan Pink salt is a good salt to finish a dish with. Has a lovely flavor plus does what salt is supposed to do for a dish - bring out all the other flavors too! The grinder is easy to use and since the grind can be used with the cap in place, you can grind into the cap, remove the cap, and then use your fingers to sprinkler the salt where ever you need it. The only downside is that the grind level is fixed (or at least I haven't found a way to change it), so the chunk size is more like fresh coarse ground pepper. Lastly, the grinding section can be unscrewed for easy refill...though that probably won't be necessary for awhile since a little bit goes a long way. Price for the grinder with 3.5 oz of salt is a bit steep, but if you don't already have a salt grinder, the initial price and then refilling from a 2 pound box will definitely be worth it.

Having used this a couple of times, I find that the salt has a great flavor when used as a finishing salt (I stick with regular salt for recipes) I have heard that pink Himalayan salt is a natural source of trace elements your body needs and that the extra minerals also help enhance the savory flavors in your food, which seems true based on my experience. The grinder works well but can't be set to a grind size. I do like that the plastic grinder is refillable, the cap is easy to unscrew to refill the bottle. You would not want to fully replace your regular salt because that this salt does not have iodine, which is called out on the label.

Welp, my first tip for any other dimwits out there would be make sure the screw on top to the refillable container is firmly secured otherwise you might find your cucumber salad engulfed in a mound of pink rocks when the grinder is engaged and immediately displaced. Anyway, the container is very conveniently replenishable...with more himalayan pink coarse rocks or any other variety of coarse salt you may happen to have on hand.This unrefined variety is a alternative for use in any recipes where salt is called or as a finishing seasoning where desired. But without question, most sensibly as a small sprinkling...While reputed to assist in meeting some nutritonal objectives such as reduced sodium content, it is also non-iodized so that should be considered if iodine deficiency is a concern.Meanwhile, my cucumber slices might very well be preserved for a trans-Atlantic voyage.

It is very convenient to take along. It's lightweight and not easily broken. The grinding mechanism works great. The salt itself is very flavorful, and seasoned my shrimp and vegetable foil pack dinner very nicely. Grinding the salt as you use it allows you to use it at peak freshness, and it has more flavor that way. I would definitely recommend this. I think it's a pretty good value because it will last a long time and can be refilled.

The salt tastes fine and the grinder works well. It is an easily refillable container if you need that feature.

A product of Pakistan, pink Himalayan salt supposedly has some health benefits versus other salt. Personally, I take all that with a grain of salt.This is a pretty good salt though, nice and salty. The refillable grinder produces a decently corse grind. Perfect for throwing in any dish or garnishing your meal and pretending like you're in a fancy restaurant.Overall, this is a salty salt that is pink and salty, and a decent value for money. I would have no issue buying this salt in the future.

This salt is great! The only issue I had was that when grinding it the salt was pretty big pieces. I would’ve preferred for it to be smaller once I grinded it but that could be a personal preference!
