When rebuilding our deck, I knew I wanted a sliding/rolling deck gate as opposed to a traditional swing gate. It's only a little shy of 5 ft in length and I wanted it to stay level with the rest of the railing so its inline when open and closed. I bought a few options and ended up going with these for the gate build. Ultimately, these seemed to be the best quality and also sat within the 2x4 well. They also double as a stop point since they sit on the corner with the way I set it up. They roll super smooth and were the perfect height to keep everything in line as I hoped, while also tying into the rest of the black hardware of the deck. Super glad I added these to the trial purchase and will be using them for additional rolling gates.

These are built well. But if you are installing in a case like I did, (musical instrument case) with any type of weight capacity, you have to reinforce the inside of the case too! I wish they supplied metal spacers or at least as an option, for the inside of your case project. But they are built well otherwise.

The casters are good quality and hold up a footlocker in the military. I would buy these again.

Excellent. Had a wood gate that I had to keep adjusting because it was constantly dragging and I could only get it open a foot. I changed out the screws that came with it for screws that would go all the way through the gate with a nut at the end to make it more secure. Works great now.

These worked perfect for my home built guitar pedalboard case. Very sturdy and priced affordably.

I hand built a reasonably nice case, within which to store & transport my Pedal Steel Guitar. The wheels were chosen because of the ability to mount them the way I needed so I can pull my case to it's set-up point. Glad to have found & gotten them, they make it possible to look low & sleek where as standard wheels would only make it look bulky.

These ultimately met my needs, but the item description is not accurate. They do not swivel, but have a fixed L-shaped base to fit around the corner of an item (as pictured in the description). Also, the wheel is closer to 1-5/8", not the 1.97" in the picture. With those caveats, they seem to work well for light-moderate weight needs. I used them to add wheels to a tuba case from the early 1980s (made from formed plywood). They met that need perfectly, and I was even able to use the included hardware, which I often find I have to throw away on hardware like this. Others commented that the axles were too small for the bearings, but I didn't find that issue. I did unbolt and reverse one of the axles so that the rotational drag on the axle would not loosen the axle bolt over time, which sometimes happens with this design.

These were perfect for my gate on my deck to keep my dog in.
