i bought this cam as two of my family members bought one and had nothing but good input. the original camera i received from amazon was problematic and wouldn’t turn on upon car start up. so i reached out to the company directly and Fairy was extremely helpful in. after a few back and forth emails about the problem, they deemed the original defective and sent me a new one. the new one worked perfectly. i enjoyed the company’s communication and commitment to their customers. the camera itself is great. such an easy set up and installation in the car plus the app is super convenient in accessing the live feed and previous recordings. and the video quality is so good! day or night, it looks so clear. no issues with it falling. no issues with recordings. no issues with sound or video. honestly a great dash cam and an even better company.

Well, I finally got to hook this up yesterday (albeit in the 🚛 for now. 🙄). And, seeing as what I've been through with the other dashcams that I've reviewed (showing license plates isn't allowed), I figured it would be better to make a sitting-still video because, it's kinda hard to NOT show license plates, when driving on main roads in a tractor trailer 😅. But I did notice one thing 🤔, this will automatically connect to Wi-Fi, after turning it on on your phone. Not sure if that was a fluke or something but, that's definitely a welcome thing 😂 (not having to turn on the Wi-Fi on the unit and being able to just go directly to the app)! But, this has EXCELLENT video for both cameras! I haven't tried at night so, not sure about the inside-cabin video yet (most aren't that great at night). I do really like how it can show the speed & time, as a screen saver, as well as turn it completely off. Another great thing is the plug-in at the top, has a 90° angle, so as to NOT be rubbing/bouncing against the windshield/suction-cup mount constantly, and possibly damaging the cord after a while. But, if you're thinking of getting this, maybe keep checking back on this review because, I'm going to be updating it here and there with more pictures, after I find out more things about it. But, as of right now, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍 UPDATE: THIS DASHCAM HAS "OUTSTANDING VIDEO CLARITY", OUTSIDE 'AND' INSIDE!!! DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍👍

This is a nice dash cam. Very user friendly and easy to use. Just plug and play type. Installation is easy as well. The app was easy to use and the recording and video clarity is great. However, I do have a few issues. 1. It list the 24 hour detection parking mode. But this requires a hardwire kit to keep continuous power to the dash cam. The details here on Amazon doesn’t state that unless you read the manual inside the box. 2. Price, It list at $ 209.99. But then it says its $145 but then there’s an option to pay $109 with some Amazon coupon. Then the next day, its now at 48% off which is now $109.99. Why all the price changes? 3. Features. Upon searching other comparable dash cams, I found a few with the same features at a lesser price. 4. No mini SD card. Other dash cams comes with SD cards. This doesn’t. 5. I just found another similar dash cam at $69.99 with the same features. Plus has a 64GB SD card with a card reader and data cable. I've been testing this out for a few days now. Its good. But still deciding if I should keep this just due to the price. UPDATE (2/23/2024): Since I bought this product around Dec 2023 and used it during a road trip, it worked great. I never used it again after our road trip. Now we are going on another road trip and I plugged the dash cam cord into the dash cam, the plug was loose and it fell apart when I unplugged it. I sent a message to Cooau Customer service and waiting for a response. Updated (2/25/2024): Cooau Customer service got back to me really fast. They took care of my issue and made it right. Customer service from this company is great! Thank you Cooau Customer service for fixing and resolving the issue.

It’s a nice dash cam. It’s recording very well both inside and outside of the car.

First of all, when I recently acquired this dash-cam, it was a quick and easy to install. I got to use it for quite a bit before it suddenly decided to fail on me. The issues that I encountered with mine was, SD Card was plugged but dash-cam says there is no storage. Another issue was the sudden flicker of the dash-cam. Of course, I had to talk to Cooau’s Customer Service. I didn’t really expect much of it for them to do much and solve my issue. Oh, I was wrong. Cooau’s Customer Service was literally so helpful and understanding, that I personally had completely no difficulty or issues at all. They were pretty straightforward with everything and we’re really nice enough to compensate for my issues. Just for the customer service itself, I’d already give it a 5. Again, back to the dash-cam. The camera is a 2.5k front view camera that has a 170° view and a 150° interior view running at 30fps. The dash-cam’s battery life requires it to be connected to a power source at all times, as it doesn’t retain any charge at all. The dash-cam also comes with Cooau’s built-in app available for both iPhone and Android. For the app itself has quite some flaws. What I noticed so far is that the app can be slow and the registering process doesn’t work for everyone. (For the app, I think you can’t use passwords with specific characters or something like that.) Overall, the app isn’t bad and it actually works decent when it wants to, such as being able to view your replays or being able to see your live dash-cam footage through your phone. Though, to connect to the dash-cam, you must be within reach and be able to connect through Wi-Fi. As for the sound quality, it works pretty well. No complaints or flaws I’ve seen at all. Though, yes it could be better. But this is a dash-cam that’s being sold for a reasonable price. Along with what comes with the dash-cam is night vision. This only works through the interior camera and doesn’t have the feature for the exterior camera. The dash-cam also comes with a few settings to mess with or tweak around with. So far, I am pretty happy with how the dash-cam works, but also with how Cooau’s Customer Service handled and solved my issue, leaving me a satisfied customer. If any questions, feel free to ask.

I had troubles with my first unit it only lasted for about two weeks. I contacted the company and was sent another camera immediately. I sent back the old unit. Now they want me to give them a positive review pestering me via email. This is been an all-around pretty good experience with them. I must’ve received a defective unit. After researching There has been a lot of other people with a similar problem. For the most part the camera has good picture quality on the front and back facing cameras. I haven’t got down to find out how to save a particular moment in time. For instance if you got pulled over how do you save that footage have no idea. I just need to put some more time into researching how the camera works and how you save video from the camera to your phone. I’m sure it will work out in time as I get a little more familiar with it. I’m going to practice saving some moments in time just in case I get pulled over or get in an accident I know how to save the footage quickly and easily under stress. Quick review the company took care of me and we’re very responsible but I don’t like that they pester for a good review. When the product is clearly a problem with many people not just me. Sounds like if you get a good camera it lasts for a long time and people have a good experience. So if this happens to you just return the defective camera in hopes of receiving a quality piece of equipment. It’s not that expensive to really take the risk. Especially if customer service is willing to take care of the problem. February 24, 2022 update the past several weeks when I had the camera turned off it will automatically turn on all by itself. I have all the settings that would turn the unit on by itself turned off there’s no reason the camera should turn on automatically! This thing is tall garbage!!! Also this camera does not Bluetooth to my phone like the first one did.

I recently purchased this dash cam for my car, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. At first product was having issues at first but fixed it with a decent power source. Surprisingly I didn't need to format the SD card that was included even though it said so. Item makes me feel safe on the road or parking. Listed pros and cons below: Pros Tiny and doesn't block view Auto record when plugged into power source Gps logs mph Cabin and front cam ( yeah def need for theft or any incident on the road ) Good reliable decent cam Motion sensor option Parking option to detect any movement Automatic lock on video and records if any rocking motion happen Loop recording will delete video ( still need to format every two weeks) Decent suction of product on windshield Format videos without having to use a laptop Great quality picture night and day Other options in cam that I haven't tried yet Cons Phone takes a while to link to app via wifi Cam won't record if using app to look at videos No backup cam option ( which is fine for me because I didn't need it) Can't use cam buttons if connected to phone ( not sure it good or bad?? Just don't like it) Can only record 10 sec at a time via wifi app in real time ( alot of glitching in process) Gets hot after 15-30 mins (not sure if that is good?) If power source disconnects it stops recording No backup of videos if camera is taken or SD go missing Loop option only 5 mins ( would be nice if 10-15 instead but still good for finding quick videos) Why 5 stars instead of 3 or 4? Because there are more pros to the product than cons. I did alot of research before settling for this one. There will always an issue but for the price beleive me you would rather spend $100 or so instead of $200-800 for the same product under a different brand. The cons are mainly app features and minor issues that are included which is not necessarily the mechanical features of the product at all. Love that all optional programs that's included such as gps which includes mph (YES!); video (front and cabin which can be turned off) ; cam; wifi(YES!);app(YES!);sound sensor etc ( you get alot in this tiny beast). I didn't know how much the gps, cabin option, wifi and app makes a huge difference in making sure the dashcam records everything as accurate as possible. It usually cost $200-800 more for all those features. Either way, for the amount it cost and the SD card that comes with it. It's a good reliable dashcam to start if your looking for a dashcam that checks everything on checklist wether you think you need it or not. It makes a huge difference. Had it for a week so far so good. Will update if any issues.
