Working great with my KEF Q series speakers. I've re-clamped a few times and they are holding together.

Couldn't be happier. So much easier to fit thin threaded wire into speakers with clip connectors. Appear to be good quality. Solid assembly design. Actually fun to install.

Everything written about the bodies of these connectors being able to short together is true. The bodies thread onto the conductor in which the speaker wires are inserted. That makes the entire connector electrically active. In my application, the row of speaker terminals for the B speakers are right below the terminals for the A speakers. After being inserted, the braided flexible part of the connector allows the top row to droop and contact the connector in the bottom row easily. My only recourse to insulate all the bodies using heat-shrink tubing. That makes for a good looking speaker connector. I went for this option because I like how the spring-loaded speaker terminal 'bites' into the braided portion of the connector. I feel that's a much-improved connection point compared to simple 16 to 18 AWG speaker wire. If a solid pin had been used instead of flex braid, the connector would be able to hold a better position in the terminal. But, because flexible braid was used, a connector cannot hold a fixed position when inserted and is allowed to droop out of the terminal and touch the connector below it. As for the complaint about this not being a banana plug, that is true and should have been instantly realized by anyone contemplating purchase. I agree that perhaps the term banana plug should not have been used in the description of this connector. In summary, after installing the heat-shrink tubing, I can still see a small collar of the connector body to determine if it's positive or negative, the set screws really clamp down on the wire, and the braided portion of the connector allows for a firm connection. I think the manufacturer did not really take into consideration the issue of possible shorting.

What a great idea with these I’ve never seen these before and I absolutely love how the cleaned things up and made things easier to connect and disconnect. They sound great and extremely easy to put together with the speaker wire. It fit like a glove. Well worth it. It fits well with all my speakers and receiver.

They were really easy to use the finish was really good they fit perfect for what I needed sound great connected no problem and a great value.

A little tough working with the tiny placement screws, but well worth the price.

I wanted to like these, they look nice and the price was right. However, during a few different louder than usual listening sessions my amp was shorting out (once it sounded like it was arcing). I thought at first that I was overloading the input, but when I switched the speakers to another receiver I started getting protective faults even at low levels. Sure enough, the outside casings were just barely touching and I confirmed by inserting a piece of tape between the two leads.Not a huge deal because I covered the terminals with shrink tubing--but I shouldn't have to! Am probably lucky that no serious damage was done.

Work as expected. The plugs fit the speakers push clips perfectly making a great connection that sounds great. Very easy instal. Much easier than trying to connect wiring without them.
