Strapsicle Hand Straps for 6" Kindle Basic 2022-2026 & Kobo Nia - Black

I personally really don’t like pop sockets. I just fidget with them and I don’t find them very comfortable to hold anything with and they’re also pretty bulky. I love these straps very much. I’m glad that I ended up purchasing them for my Kindle! They are very silly. I have never came close to dropping my Kindle with them. They’re very comfortable to use. You don’t have to use both straps, but I tend to use both of them. I like them a lot. I love the color very much. it’s my favorite color pink, but they have so many color options which is really awesome as well. They’re very easy to use very mobile and they don’t take up a lot of space. They definitely work well with the straps brand case it doesn’t have super bulky corners which I also appreciate because a lot of the clear Kindle cases are just so bulky. I have never dropped it with these on and I find a very comfortable when I’m just laying in bed reading or on the go reading. I definitely love them. They’re one of my favorite Kindle purchases I have ever made. I knew I was going to love these. You don’t have to use both straps at once. I just tend to keep them both on so I don’t accidentally misplaced one of them. They even have it labeled for you which to put on the top right in which to put on the top left which is really nice! I’m overall such a fan of these and I knew I was going to be due to the fact that I really don’t like pop sockets. I definitely like to fidget with them, but I’ll just fidget with them until I break them. These are super sturdy and they’re very nice. They’re not bulky at all either. I’m able to slide my Kindle in the front of my lounge, my bag no problem with these! I definitely do not regret my purchase at all I couldn’t recommend them more truly! I do recommend getting them with the strap school case just due to them making it so it would fit better with a clear case you could also just not put a case on your Kindle, but I have anxiety so it’s better for me to have a case on it in case anything happens and I love my kindle. It goes everywhere with me I always joke. It’s my emotional support Kindle! No matter how much I’ve whipped my Kindle around even like I was showing in the video. I’ve never once dropped it. These are amazing. I truly love them a lot if you’re anything like me and you don’t like the feeling of using a pop socket and you don’t like how bulky they are on top of that I think that you’ll really love these for your Kindle. I could not recommend them more truly!

Further updated. The seller offered to send the larger size free of charge. I had already received a full refund, so I did not think they needed to give me a free one, as well, but I appreciate the offer and wanting to make it right! So, I ordered the larger size. It fits perfectly! Much more comfortable! Very happy with the entire communication and new product. Now 5 stars! I will review the large separately, since it is another verified purchase. Updated. The seller reached out wanting to make it correct. They note a larger size and offered to send it free of charge or refund my purchase. Excellent service. I appreciate their efforts and would try them again. Easy to install. Conceptually great, but the bands (straps?) are so tight, it's difficult to get fingers in between the kindle and the strap, and your fingers quickly feel the pressure. It quickly becomes uncomfortable. The material is grippy, which is good, but it makes it harder to slip fingers behind the device, too. An elastic would be more comfortable but less durable. Finally, I wonder if the bands are slightly bending the kindle (it's that tight) and may cause future problems.

I originally loved these. They're far better than no straps because holding on without any effort is really great for when you are reading in bed tired. No more Kindle dropping on your face as you fall asleep. But the design leaves something to be desired. The straps are silicone, which are comfortable, but they are really a bit too loose. They fall off a lot. Totally gone when I toss my Kindle in my shoulder bag. And over time the corners have slightly deformed from the way they get pulled on by your hand holding up the Kindle, so they no longer really sit flush. I got my husband a different brand which stays on more securely but feels less comfortable on the hand, and is a single not two crosses, so it's not better. Haven't found the perfect holder yet.

I love these I just wish the corners were a bit deeper. For the higher price I would just be nice to be able to use ANY clear case without the corners popping off. I shouldn't have to buy their brand of case too. Overall though, once I maneuver the corners around my case, the straps work great, make holding my Kindle much easier during long reading sessions, and they've saved my face from the dreaded "Kindle drop" (we've all been there). As a lover of green, the color makes me happy too. 😊 I have recommend these to fellow Kindle readers and appreciate how easy they are to get on and off. They're a great idea but would be perfect if just slightly wider at the corners.

I use the hand straps on the Strapsicle clear case and have no issues with them sliding off. Straps are comfy and sage green color is as advertised. It makes reading a lot more comfortable.

Work great and match my kindle. Makes holding it one handed much more comfortable and easy in any position. The only downside is the silicone catches on things and the corners pop off every now and then if I put my kindle in a bag and pull it back out. I just have to be careful and it’s easy to put back on when it happens. They also cover the little x in the top right hand corner of the screen, so I have to shift that piece out of the way when I need to tap it to close out of something, but any other design wouldn’t stay put. It’s a very minor inconvenience compared to the benefits of having them on.

I read in bed at night and a typical scenario is one I'm sure many of you have experienced. I sleep on my side, with one arm extended, holding the Kindle. I fall asleep. I drop the Kindle. It clatters to the floor, waking both me and my partner. Repeat ad infinitum. Not sure how I stumbled upon these straps; I didn't go looking for them. Must have been a random internet article. In any case, I gave them a try and overall it's a pretty good solution. More often than not I wake up with the Kindle still strapped to my hand. But it does manage to slip out once in a while. Still... better than with out it. I have experimented with using one or two straps. Using both feels too tight on my fairly large fingers. Using one or the other feels good for one hand if the strap goes across the fingers (top end on same side as the reading hand), but is awkward for the other hand (top strap corner on the opposite side as the reading hand). I alternate back and forth on both sides while reading, so some percent of the time the strap feels awkward. What I think would work better is instead of two separate straps, where one has to overlap the other, make it just one piece, if not an X, then an upside down Y shape. Hard to describe in text, but if the creators read reviews, I think they'll know what I'm getting at. Or maybe I should design my own and sell it to them! In any case, it's not perfect but I'm content with the purchase.

I wasn’t sure if this would make much of a difference, but it’s made reading on my Kindle much more comfortable. I mostly use it one-handed in bed or on the sofa, and the strap gives me a much more secure grip without having to hold the edges tightly. It was easy to fit, feels well made, and hasn’t slipped or stretched after regular use. A simple accessory that’s genuinely improved my reading experience.

Having options with how to hold the kindle makes it so much easier to read. I use the double strap so I hold the kindle from different sides. I also love it because the bright colors helps me spot my kindle on the cough/bed easily.

Very useful strap and the strap feels very comfortable. Fits very well.
