The best thing for my daughter to study, super practical and the battery lasts a long time. It is the best tool for my daughter, it works super well and the capacity it has for all her projects, I will buy another one.

Always concerned about "refurbished" electronic items. The computer arrived with no original packaging. A concern at first. Although there is no information why the computer was returned, there was actually no evidence it was ever used. The price was great, replacing my 8 year old Chromebook that Chrome has decided to no longer update the OS. The old computer has been put to good use. It has an HDMI input as well as several older memory slots. Don't throw away your older computers. Most have inputs that newer computers no longer have. Still have a desktop with RCA inputs and a built in cd/dvd player/recorder. The cd/dvd recorder will record anything that comes across the screen or out of the speaker. Now in digital form you have many options on how you save or playback the material. Sure, it must be done in real time, not drag and drop, but you have an unlimited source of free material

I was surprised at how good this unit works. First, cosmetically it looks as if it is brand new. Not a blemish on it. Second, I was very pleased at how good the display is for this price. My last Chromebook had an abysmal display. Thirdly it came up and worked as it should right off the bat. Now I have only been using it for a few days but that is a good indication. The keyboard is great or my fat fingers. I love the fact that the keyboard is backlit. It isn't blazing fast, but it is quite responsive and a pleasure to use. Battery life seems to be about 12 hours or so which works well for me. I had no trouble connecting to my router and getting on the internet. So, I am very pleased at this point.

Looks and performs brand new! I selected this Chromebook for My Son’s high school needs. My main concern was battery life throughout the school day and it is long lasting. No problems. It is also that must be the end of the cycle. He would have thought it was brand new if I didn’t tell him… Works for all of his needs in high school. I selected this Chromebook because it also has an SSD and that is important for speed on boot. For a light computer use, I would highly recommend this machine. It works great for things like checking email and using Google Drive and social media, Homework, online shopping, light Computer tasks. I also selected this machine for its durability and I wanted something that a ninth grade boy could not easily destroy. He is taking care of it, but it also is a sturdy machine.

I own a fleet of computers. Several Macs, several PCs, and several Chromebooks. They all have different purposes. Macs for music and video production; PCs mostly for work; Chromebooks for browsing the internet, checking email, etc. But in the short time I've had this $200 machine, I've been blown away by the key features. I write for a living so a good keyboard is critical for typing. This is hands down the best keyboard I've ever used on a Chromebook. Just the right amount of resistance an a great feel. Plus backlighting, which was not a key for me but nice to have. The screen, which is the second most important part of the laptop for me, is crisp and bright. The whole package is lightweight but feels sturdy, and the battery life is excellent. Given that my work has migrated everything to the cloud, I'm using this Chromebook for everything (except video and music production -- nothing better than a Mac for that stuff) and just really pleased with this purchase. Mine was refurbished but there is no indication anywhere of any problems at all -- looks and works like new. The review asked me to describe the touch screen -- but this model doesn't have a touch screen. That's fine with me as I don't like fingerprints on my screen anyway.

Very slow.. battery life is not good, needed to change within 2hrs, product description mentioned two “C” charger posts but it has only one port!!

Decent little laptop, does what I need it to. Bought refurb from the Amazon store. They sent me the laptop, a little banged up, which is okay... But..they sent me a power cord for a completely different machine. When I contacted them upon opening I was quite rudely informed I had to buy the correct cord or return the machine. They wouldn't send me the correct cord at all. Doesn't seem quite right to purchase it,but can't power it. Won't buy from Amazon store again.
