Got the rabbits noses twitching with excitement.
This is the only hay that my daughters rabbits get excited about. They can smell it through the bag and box, so they will beg you for it. We spent years trying to get them to eat plenty of hay and now they love the 2nd cut timothy hay by nibble & gnaw. The vet commented on how well they look at 7yrs old. We will only buy this hay now, you get what you pay for and this is quality hay with no waste or dust at the bottom of the bag just lovely green hay.

Freshness
My Girls LOVE this ! And the proof is right here! I have bought this before, and it is soooo green! and I can smell it's sweetness a mile away! We don't get hay like this in the UK, ours is brown (!) so I just use it as a base in their "toilet" area! There's no expense spared when it comes to my pets health, and this Timothy Hay is worth every penny!

Lots of quality hay
Our guinea pigs love this hay, there's loads packed very tightly inside a bag in the box.

Currently good quality Nibble&Gnaw 1st Cut Timothy Hay.
The first cut Nibble&Gnaw Timothy hay I have received recently is good quality. (Writing this on 5 December 2025.) It is full of seed heads which my rabbits love, plus its coarse nature and long strands are really helpful for all rabbits' never-stop-growing teeth and their digestive systems too. Be aware though, although it is generally good quality, Nibble&Gnaw First Cut Timothy does vary considerably. In the past I have sometimes needed thick gloves to handle the it because it has mostly been hard, spikey stalks, which are needle sharp. In addition to making the hay difficult to handle this can also make it dangerous for the eyes of small animals. When the First Cut Timothy is like that we switch to Nibble&Gnaw Second Cut Timothy which also goes down well with our bunnies but is not quite so good for their teeth.

An excellent premium Hay! Absolutely recommend it if you love your furry friends and can afford it.
This hay is always consistently excellent quality! We have two house rabbits with malocclusion(One more severe then the other), so we took a chance on this hoping that more chewing on tastier hay would mean more teeth grinding. It has absolutely worked for us the more severe case only needs vet attention twice a year now at most and the other rabbit has been fine for two years now. It is obviously much more expensive than regular shop bought hay but it is also clearly fresher and higher quality. It has also definitely saved us money in vet trips not to mention taken the stress away from our little rabbits.

Do not order if you have allergies
My bunnies seem to like this and it does create less mess as it is so coarse. I imagine itโs good for their teeth too but I had the worst allergic reaction to it despite me only having mild hayfever. Hives all up my arms, tight chest and wheezing. Please donโt order if you have a hay allergy. I have never reacted to hay like that before.
