She liked the style and wanted a shoe to wear that wasn't too high since she would be in them all day. However, these shoes really hurt her feet from the moment she put them on. They were the correct size, but just extremely uncomfortable. I have the same size foot and tried them on and didn't think they were bad at all. They felt a little tight and stiff in the toe area, so they might need a few wears until they are comfortable. This must be one of those shoes where it really just depends on your foot shape and structure.
