Having used various gimbals over the years, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Zhiyun Weebill 3S fits into my workflow—especially when paired with LUMIX cameras. Right out of the box, it seamlessly integrates with my LUMIX setup, allowing me to control key settings and start/stop recording without any hassle. One of the standout features for me is its ability to power my camera via the camera control cable. This not only reduces the need for extra batteries but also keeps my setup clean and efficient—perfect for long shooting days. Additionally, I’m using the Zhiyun focus motor to control zoom on my zoom lenses, which adds another layer of versatility to my shoots. In terms of handling, the lightweight design, wrist rest, and side handle make a huge difference in comfort and stability, particularly for handheld work. It’s a well-thought-out system that genuinely helps with fatigue over extended shoots. Despite its compact form, the motor response is smooth, customisable via the screen, and—importantly—completely silent, ensuring no unwanted noise in my audio recordings. Compared to other gimbals I’ve used, the Weebill 3S is an excellent option for light to medium-sized camera setups, particularly Panasonic/LUMIX users who want a straightforward, reliable stabiliser with built-in camera control and power delivery. Zhiyun has nailed the balance between functionality, portability, and ease of use, making this an easy recommendation. Also love the LED light which is good for wedding dance floors!!

Review de este Gimbal ZHIYUN Weebill hay muchas en internet y YT por lo que no me voy a entender mucho e dar mi opinión, al igual que no voy a entrar a dar datos técnicos sobre este, ZHIYUN ya los da en su web y aquí en Amazon bastante bien y volver ha hacerlo yo seria repetirme y hacer esta reseña necesariamente extensa e interminable. Si optas por el modelo Combo, el que yo he escogido y creo que la mejor opción ya que este incluye el reposamuñecas y un practico soporte de mano para así el Gimbal con las dos manos lo que hace que su peso, ya de por si pequeño, se reparta mejor entre los dos brazos, pero por contra tendrás una mochila de diseño que puede gustar mas o menos pero que es realmente poco practica y menos aun para guardar esta herramienta de trabajo que es el Gimbal. Dicho estos, el Gimbal está fabricado en metal con alguna pieza en plástico y tiene una construcción muy cuidada hasta el ultimo detalle. La forma en la que cogemos este ha mejorado muchísimo si lo comparamos con versiones anteriores y ni que decir tiene que muchísimo mejor que con los de la competencia y todo gracias a su bajo peso y lo compacto que este es, más siendo un tripode que va dirigido a cierto publico con determinadas cámaras que son las de medio peso y este Weebill es capaz de soportar un peso máximo de hasta 2,5 Kg, que me parece una verdadera pasada. Su nivelación es sencillisima, no tardas mas de 2 minutos en tener el conjunto totalmente equilibrado y se incluyen dos zaparas que facilitan la colocación en el eje del Gimbal tanto en horizontal como en vertical si vas a grabar para redes sociales, porque si, en este Weebill puedes poner la cámara en vertical, aunque a mi personalmente no me gusta y no lo uso, prefiero grabar en horizontal y si he de subir algo a las redes, lo que hago es grabar en 4K y recortar de esta forma me aseguro tener mis grabaciones para lo que han sido grabadas. Disponemos de los modos tipos de todos los Gimbal, incluso el VORTEX con el que podremos hacer esos giros de cámara que quedan tan espectaculares en ciertas ocasiones. Todo se maneja con cuatro sencillos botones estrategicamentes colacocados, un joystick mas una rueda y según las pulsaciones que hagas en los botones obtendrás resultados deferentes, algunos de ellos programables a tu gusto. Dispone de una pequeña pantalla OLED que te muestra información básica, no hace falta mas y se ve realmente bien incluso en condiciones de a pleno sol. La verdad es que es un Gimbal muy potente y con una bateria dura y dura y que te dará para una jornada completa de trabajo, según ZHIYUN mas de 12 horas aunque eso dependerá del uso que le des y si usas los motores para hacer movimientos de cámara, usas la LUZ de relleno qu este trae y en fin como todos los equipos que se alimentan con batería. pero aun suponiendo que sean 8 horas, ya son un montón. La estabilización que hace es verdaderamente sorprendente, independientemente de la cámara y objetivo que lleves, mantiene la imagen estable aunque tu estes dando saltitos o tengas un pulso de pena. Lo estabiliza todo, dando unos planos tremendos y si usas los movimiento estos sería suaves y constantes, sin tirones de ningún tipo., que por cierto, puedes programar movimientos y luego con pulsar un botón este los ejecuta. También puedes usar este desde la propia app de ZHIYUN que está bien pero es muy parca y hay veces que se hace algo liosa. Sin duda este ZHIYUN Weebill 3S es una compra 💯recomendada.

Meine letzte Erfahrung mit einem Gimbal war der DJI Ronin S vor einigen Jahren und da hatte ich immer das Problem, dass das zwar ein toller Gimbal war, aber er war schwer mit den Spiegelreflexkameras und den passenden Objektiven. Ich bin filmerisch mittlerweile auf Sony und spiegellose Kameras umgestiegen. Bisher hat es auch immer ausgereicht, dass die Kamera auf einem Stativ steht oder ich kleine Bewegungen aus der Hand filmen konnte. Doch jetzt musste wieder ein Gimbal her und ich habe mich für die Marke Zhiyun entschieden, weil ich bisher viel Gutes darüber gehört habe. Ich habe auch schon ein LED-Licht von ZHYIUN und bin davon auch schon überzeugt. Der ZHIYUN Weebill 3s ist für mittlere Kameras wie die Sony A7C oder A7III (oder ähnliche) gemacht. Der Karton machte einen hochwertigen Eindruck und alles war sicher verpackt. Der Gimbal und alles Zubehör ist in einer Art Seesack verstaut. Alles war gut gepolstert und mit Laschen gesichert. Ich werde mir aber zeitnah noch einen Koffer besorgen, da ich den Sack sehr unpraktisch finde. Was mir direkt positiv aufgefallen ist, sind die Sicherungen an den Gelenken. So kann man beim Ausrichten der Kamera jede Achse entspannt und in Ruhe einstellen. Ich finde, dass das Ausrichten sehr schnell von der Hand geht. Man kann die Kamera einmal im Querformat und im Hochformat montieren. Dazu braucht man nicht mal mehr einen L-Winkel, denn man kann den Schlitten drehen. Allerdings muss man dann aufpassen, dass man erst die Kamera auf den Schlitten bringt und dann den Schlitten dreht. Es kann sonst passieren, dass die Halterung im Weg ist für den Kamerabody. (siehe eines der Bilder) Der Gimbal hat auch ein kleines Licht verbaut, was sicher in der ein oder anderen dunkleren Situation hilfreich sein kann. Man kann direkt am Griff die Helligkeit oder Farbtemperatur einstellen. Auch hat die Kamera direkt auf den Gimbal reagiert und ich konnte sofort die Aufnahme vom Griff aus starten. Toll finde ich die zusätzliche Stütze für das Handgelenk. So hat man den Weebill noch besser in der Hand und kann auch stabil mit einer Hand filmen, wenn nötig. Zusammenfassung: Gut finde ich: - Gewicht - einfacher und schneller Aufbau - Handstütze - Licht - Akku hat für mich immer über einen Tag gereicht (längere Produktionen kommen erst noch) - Ohne L-Winkel im Hochformat filmen zu können (aber der Umbau ist noch etwas umständlich) - Die App funktioniert auch sehr gut und auch damit kann man gut den Gimbal fernsteuern Nicht so gut finde ich: - Die Aufbewahrungstasche ist viel zu groß und verbraucht zu viel Platz für so einen kleinen Gimbal. Auch ist sie gegen Stöße nur bedingt gepolstert. Dafür hole ich mir einen Hardschalen-Koffer - Der Umbau auf Hochformat ist etwas sperrig. Da ist ein L-Winkel mit Schnellwechselplatte bestimmt die bessere Lösung oder man filmt einfach in 4K und schneidet sich dann raus was man braucht. - Größere Objektive lassen sich nicht ausrichten. An meiner Sony A7III habe ich ein Tamron 35-150 angebracht und dieses Objektiv konnte ich nicht ausbalancieren. Dafür ist der Weebill zu klein oder ich bräuchte eine Stativschelle am Objektiv. Fazit: Die Vorteile liegen klar auf der Hand und der Gimbal ist perfekt gemacht für Reportagen und Produktionen, wo einfach wenig Platz ist. Auch Content-Erstellung für Social Media ist problemlos möglich, wenn auch nicht ausgereift. Meine Empfehlung geht ganz klar an das Set mit Handstütze. Damit ist das Arbeiten so viel komfortabler und man hat beim Filmen noch mal mehr Sicherheit. Alles in allem ein super Produkt und ich bin von der Marke ZHIYUN sehr überzeugt.

When I got this gimbal I was disappointed. It was easy enough to balance at home, but as soon as I needed it to work in the field it decided to flip around backwards and refuse to straighten out. I dropped it and the leg of the tripod attachment snapped off immediately and could not be glued together. Bag was cumbersome and didn’t fit the equipment well. I had no idea if anything I filmed with it would be usable or not. Then we got home and I saw the footage. 10/10 amazing and definitely elevated the film. I ordered a metal tripod base and I’m keeping it.
