It works well once it's connected for the day, but turn the remote and the camera off for the night and it'll take you 20 minutes to get it connected again the next time you use it. Have no idea why that is. Also when doing the gps it only connects when it choses, which is usually not when you want it to. Kinda pathetic if you ask me. It's a lot of $$$ for this remote but I'll have to say it works way better than the gopro remote ever did, at least the one I had. I like the fact that it'll turn the camera on when you ask it to and off when asked, that's worth it right there. GPS and the stats are just a perk but don't count on them to function when you want them too. Also The stats won't be on a edited video, it has to be raw. What's up with that insta???? I want the stats to be on the edited video.

Item works. Can be aggravating at times cause it doesnt want to work.

This is a must have if you mount your insta on your motorcycle. It allows you to capture speed, route, heading and other really cool metrics. Plus remote activation and stopping of videos is really nice. It comes with a wrist strap and handlebar strap. I used the handlebar strap to mount to my bike but it was too wobbly. So I added 2 zip ties along with the handlebar strap and cinched them down tight and now it’s rock solid. Be sure to update the software in the remote and your camera using the insta360 phone app.
