Disclaimer: The video doesn't cover the half of what these two do with this toy. They really take this toy to town. :D I have two couch potato Tabby cats. Bodhi and Harry. Bodhi is a small little female kitty and Harry is a, well... rotund is a polite word for him. He is a decidedly large male cat. Both of them are perpetually bored but Bodhi is very vocal about it (annoyingly so). She'll yowl at the walls for an hour simply because she's bored. I've tried everything. Playing with them using yarn... Other cat toys that move around the floor... A cat laser toy .... Battery powered fish .... I have numerous cat trees all over my house (with toys hanging off them) in a desperate attempt to keep these two felines occupied but their response is..... Nothin. They barely sniff at the toys and as for the cat trees? They sit on and fall asleep and ignore the hanging toys altogether! They clearly are NOT amused by any of my attempts to keep them entertained. Even catnip doesn't do the trick. Frankly, they need exercise (especially Harry aka Chubby Boy). It's been frustrating trying to get these two couch bums to motivate at all. I can't tell you why it works or why this one toy has captured their attention BUT it has. They adore this thing! I have it on video. Both of them are captivated by it. They play with it. They sit by it (apparently just to watch it or, maybe, to see if it tries to "escape? Who knows)... BUT they're in love with this toy. In the video, I couldn't capture what little Bodhi does because it happens so quickly.... She'll walk about 15 feet away from the toy and then RUN (going a full Indy 500 speed) and jump on it. She'll then run away, only to turn around and do it again...and again...and again. And the really amazing part is, somehow the toy isn't broken! I don't know how it hasn't just given up the ghost because these two attack it all the time. They stop it from moving and hold onto it while slapping it violently. They claw at it. Hold it and kick it with their back feet. The abuse the poor toy endures is shocking. You'd think it would fall apart but ... Nope. It's like the energizer bunny or something. It just keeps going. It's not too loud. It's easy to set up and use. It's not too heavy. Harry has managed to pick it up once or twice and tried to carry it away, but he gives up pretty fast (it's too awkward for him to carry around) and again, somehow, it's not broken! It really stands up to destructive cat behavior. They play with it all the time. It's totally engaging. Also, it keeps a charge for a REALLY long time because, when it's not in use, it turns off and only comes back to life when they attack it again. I charged it over ten days ago and it's still going on that one charge). It only took a couple hours to fully charge it too. It's a win/win toy for me and my kitties. My cats are getting their exercise in, and I couldn't be happier. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my best purchase in years. My thanks to the manufacturer for making a truly cool kitty toy!

I'm not big on reviews but this toy is amazing! I have always been hesitant about buying electronic toys because of how destructive one of my cats is. The concern was that he would destroy it within minutes. Not only is this toy extremely durable, all my cats love it and it has kept their attention for over a month now. I will say the butterfly is not very durable, my cat ate the wings off immediately and has bent the whole metal piece so now it flaps weird. But the feather portion is great! This toy has been dragged across the room, flipped over, and attacked so many times and it is still going strong. The battery life lasts awhile, about a week I think with pretty regular use. It is also fairly quiet compared to similar ones I've seen and I appreciate that it doesn't make sounds. Overall, a fantastic purchase that keeps my kitties entertained.

Worth every penny! This was recommended to me by a colleague who has multiple cats, and after she said every single one loved this toy, I knew I had to get it for my kitten. Well, it's day 2 of this toy and it's easy to say that he's obsessed. I'll admit when I first opened the box I was a bit skeptical- flimsy paper and a metal wand with a delicate butterfly attached? Well, I've never been happier to be wrong (please don't tell my husband this is even a possibility)!!! He LOVES it- between the butterfly and the little hiding feathers underneath, this thing keeps him occupied for HOURS and tires out that endless kitten energy so nicely. I love watching him play with it because he really seems to love it- even my 8 y/o dog is intrigued by it so i get the feeling it will get well loved over here!!! On the human side, assembly couldn't have been easier, especially for me who usually struggles with these kinds of things. It's not loud or distracting, and it's a great alternative to the feather/wand toys that cats love, especially if you are working and can't sit and dangle them for hours. Charging is also simple as can be via usb- and it charges pretty quickly in my experience so far! Truly a must buy and a must have!!!

My cats have never been interested in automatic toys, but our kitten is all for them. This is the one he LOVES and will wait for me to turn it on. Even when my mom was cat-sitting, he would play with her and then sit by the toy and wait for her to turn it on lol. He's happily played with it every day since I bought it in March. He runs and slides all over it, pounces on it, rolls around, kicks it, you name it. Feathers have held up well since he likes to chomp on them, and motor hasn't weakened. Charges quickly via USB-C and the battery life has held up perfectly. He has separation anxiety from my husband so we turn this on when he leaves and it relieves some of the stress and he doesn't redirect at the other cats. The different modes really are great and keep him entertained. I also love that it doesn't chirp or make noise. The only thing I did was take Sharpies and color the the On/Off button and the Mode button so I could tell the difference easier. Our place is kind of dark, so it helped me for sure. Sooooo worth it for an excellent toy.

My cats are extremely picky with the toys they play with and after spending hundreds of dollars and many hours playing with every toy I could find, I finally pulled the trigger and bought an automatic one. I felt a bit like a bad cat mom as I wasn’t “bonding” with them with this toy but it’s had an amazing impact for both them and myself. They love it more than any other toy I’ve gotten. I’ve tried other brands as well, but this one is sturdy, quiet, keeps them busy, and is good quality. I’ve recharged it over and over and have not noticed a problem with the battery reaching and staying at full charge. They use this thing every single day and get upset if it’s on the charger, even sitting nearby and waiting for it to be ready! I love that it has a standby feature so I don’t have to be woken up in the middle of the night to turn it back on when they’re ready to play. They don’t care much for the butterfly mode, but it’s entirely up to each cat what their preferences are. I have a chunky, lazy girl that doesn’t like to play but gets the exercise she needs from this, which has made me and her vet extremely happy. I’m so overly impressed with the durability of this toy as they are by no means gentle with it and attack it like crazy every single day. No holes in the fabric, buttons work well, nothing has broken off. I did run into an issue with the bottom mechanism where it would stop spinning freely, which I assume is from a build up of debris, hair, and the sheer amount of usage making it need some more lubricant. I was unsure how to fix it, and reached out to the customer support email where I quickly received a friendly response offering to replace it. A real person that cares about their customers and their furry companions. I will be supporting this company more in the future to add more enrichment to my kitties’ lives and would highly recommend both this toy and seller to anyone with cats!

... Killed the feathered beastie in under 15 minutes. Hilarious fun! My blue caught it, grabbed it in her mouth and turned to run with it, only to be chased by an angry butterfly who delicately spanked her. The outraged stalking that occurred between her and her brother was entertaining. However, all but one feather hath been pulled and vanquished. Anyone who has a cat that destroys feathered toys will expect this result. But I went to order replacement kit and it is out of stock. I hope the pink mouse lasts while I look for a solution. I definitely recommend this toy! One star off because I can't order replacement feather bait.

I have a 5 year old Maine Coon...not the most active boy in the world, but he really loves this toy. He's big and strong, but this toy has held up well, and he hasn't destroyed it with his massive paws. I like the fact that it shuts off after a while and if he touches it, it will turn itself on again. It's practically noiseless, easy to assemble, and you can change the speed of the attached toys. It holds a full charge for more than a day, since I manually turn it off when he's done playing. He knows that after I turn it on, if he touches it, it will start moving again. If I have turned it off, he'll sit there until I turn it on again. I really think he looks forward to playing with it. It's a great toy for my big guy.

This toy is great quality. I had bought multiple automated toys for my 3-month-old kitten, and this is by far the most well constructed and well thought-out one by far. First, I would attest to the toy's quality; it is very well made and every gripe I had with cheaper toys were addressed with this model. Second: there are no batteries for them to displace or knock out, so he can play with the toy as long as it has charge instead of having to fix the batteries every 10 minutes. Third: the toy is very well thought-out, and even though the on/off switch is on the outside like most automated kitty toys, there is a locking mechanism which prevents him from turning it off by jumping in it, which my 1.5lb kitten did A LOT to other toys. Fourth: the butterfly part looks quite real and flabbergasted my kitten. It is also nice to be able to have different modes as sometimes he prefers just the feather toy on the bottom or just the butterfly or both. Being able to toggle between these has been a lot of fun for us both. Fifth: this toy is very well constructed, with securing reinforcement to the lower feather toy other than just screwing it in. I can't tell you how many times my kitten dislodged the other screw-in automated feather toy in just one hour of intense play. This toy was very well-made and every complaint I had with the others has been addressed by this toy alone. I hope it lasts long because my kitten is busy with it for hours. I highly recommend this, as my kitten has SO much energy and it is nice for him to be so busy for hours without me having to re-stabilize or fix the toy so often. I wish I had bought this toy first, would have saved me some money!

They just don’t get bored of it. Charge lasts a long time like 2-3 weeks and it’s constantly entertaining my cats. Build quality is also great. I’ve had my cat pick this toy up and drag it down the stairs multiple times and it still works. It’s definitely passed the durability test! Haha

The cat loves it. Compared to similar products this one feels a lot more robust as well (my cat has a tendency to drag this toy around the house as a hunting trophy). The USB-C powered internal battery is a great plus as well.

The short summary is if you're wondering whether it's worth spending the extra $$$ on this device, the answer is YES. I've owned several similar toys down the years and this is the only one of actual quality, and you can just feel it in the build. The battery charges quickly and lasts forever, and my cats will play with this far longer than any other toy they own, and trust me they own all the toys already. Zero interest in the butterfly mode, mind you, but it's worth the investment just for the one function. My only criticism is the rubber "tail" on the "mouse" should be more rigidly attached to the ball unit, as it is prone to disappear under the mat, but the game works best when the "tail" is just poking out. Anyway, don't buy the cheaper ones, buy this and you'll actually save money not having to replace it every 2 years like all the others.
