Greenworks 12" (in.) Surface Cleaner Pressure Washer Attachment

This really does a good job. Makes it faster and easier to power clean large areas. Highly recommend it.

Cleaning my driveway and patio used to take forever with a regular pressure washer nozzle, so I decided to give this attachment a try. It made the job so much easier and did a fantastic job getting all the dirt off! A few helpful tips if you're thinking of getting one: you do have to move it pretty slowly—maybe just a few inches at a time. If you have areas that are heavily soiled or really stained, expect to make about three passes over the same spot to get it totally clean. Honestly, it would be even better if it had two extra nozzles on the inside for more coverage, but even as-is, it saves so much time and effort compared to using a basic wand. Overall, I'm really happy with it. It does a great job and takes way less toll on your body!

I used this very inexpensive washer attached to a underpowered electric Greenworks pressure washer. It is not a professional model and the 12in diameter means some additional effort is required, but I was impressed how effective it was at cleaning my driveway. If you set your expectations appropriate to the size of the washer and the attachment, it will get the job done. Perfect for home use.

I’n actually shocked such a cheap, plastic gadget works this well. I live in Seattle where the joke is “keep moving before moss grows under your feet”. I used this thing on my concrete walkway much like using a vacuum inside the house. It made a two hour job about 2min. I didn’t have thick moss to remove but a thin layer of discoloration. This cheap gadget works.

Want to do an OK job quickly? This is the product for you! I must confess, my walkway and driveway probably hadn't been cleaned in 10 yrs or so, so I didn't know how good of a job this would do around my house. I have the Greenworks 2000 psi pressure washer and got this attachment. Pros - does clean, has a ring brush to push dirt, keeps the water from spreading everywhere, speeds things up Cons - doesn't deep clean, too far away from concrete to deep clean it, if you're not a robot you will probably have circles left over where you kept it in the same place for a second longer than where you moved it. Pretend its a vacuum cleaner. Go slow, allow it to do its job. Then, after you're done, put on a 40 degree nozzle and pressure wash over where your just cleaned. I would use it to keep everything uniformed, but you run the risk of having circles left everywhere. But, in favor of Greenworks, this is what it is. Its not like you can improve on the design much at this price point. Maybe an inch closer to the ground would help it. Maybe a large nozzle that will leave a thicker circle to help alleviate the rings. But, other than that, I don't see how much they could improve on it. For under 30 bucks, you can use this on maybe a deck or to get minor stains removed. But, for real deep cleaning of concrete, you're better off using a flat nozzle that came with the pressure washer.

I got this surface cleaner to use with my Greenworks 2700 PSI electric pressure washer. I wish I had gotten a surface cleaner years ago! I tried it on a concrete driveway, a couple of concrete pads that had some serious moss growth, a redwood deck, and a natural stone walkway. Greenworks isn't exaggerating when they say the surface cleaner is five times faster than a regular spray tip. It is not only much faster, but it resulted in a much more even cleaning than using a spray tip. It would remove minor moss growth if I went over the area more than once, and even removed ~1/2" thick moss if I gave it enough time, but I found a better approach was to use the turbo nozzle to remove the moss, then the surface cleaner to clean the rest of the surface. It went much faster that way. On surfaces that weren't moss-covered, the surface cleaner did a great job on its own. There was no over-spray, even on the uneven, natural stone walkway. I have never used any other surface cleaner, so I don't have direct experience to draw on, but I think this one is ideal for a homeowner. It's light enough that it floats over concrete surfaces easily, but if you were working with a really large area, you might want a surface cleaner with wheels. On the other hand, the fact that this one is so light and maneuverable made it possible for me to do the stairs on the deck and to get closer into corners, which I suspect would be difficult if not impossible with some of the other surface cleaners. The Greenworks 15" Surface Cleaner appears to be made well, and has a brush skirt that keeps it off the surface you're cleaning. It looks like the skirt is replaceable, though I have not looked on the Greenworks site to see if it's offered. The 12" extension the surface cleaner comes with is a great addition; it puts the cleaner exactly the right distance from me while I'm using it. There were no leaks, and it was easy to rinse the dirt out of the cleaner after use. If you're looking for a well-made, useful addition for a pressure washer up to 3100 PSI to clean a variety of flat surfaces, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this Greenworks product.

This had a many high positive reviews so I got this one over the Ryobi one. It does spin around fine and cleans somewhat. Depends on how caked on the debris is on the sidewalk or driveway. Pushing seemed harder to do. Pulling was easier as well as side to side. (Think of a floor polisher). With the bristle skirt the water was contained. However, it seemed that with the extra water level, it dampened the hard water pounding to clean the debris. So I had to lift and edge up a bit for the water to escape as I did passes across the cement. This seemed to help clean better, but the trade off is that it is more messy. Shoes and clothes get soaked. Got light cleaning it works great.

This surface cleaner did an amazing job on my composite deck. Easy to attach, and easy to use. Saves lots of time over pressure washing with just the wand.
