All in with the Whitley, no dig post kit, and the Ironsides mailbox I put in a brand new mailbox for around $130 and it only took about 15 minutes to assemble and install everything. I’m happy all around with the three of their products.

Bought and installed this along with a new white mailbox. Very sturdy and looks great!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Woreked perfectly with no problems

I had to replace a similar mailbox post damaged by someone. This post went together easily, and everything fit perfectly. The universal mounting plate even worked with my extra-large mailbox. This was one of the lowest cost options for me, so it also provides a great value as well as moderate (by today's standards) cost. YMMV, but you should consider this as an option if you can use it for your mailbox installation. I have two minor quibbles. I would have liked a tighter fit of the cross arm in the vertical post. I added some caulk to make minimize water getting to the wooden support post. I also like a more secure attachment of the cross arm to the vertical post. It was loose with just the fasteners that were provided. I used two old screws in the vertical post to secure the cross arm. These were minor modifications that most people could do in ten minutes. They two modifications are not required but do add some rigidity and weather protection.
