Since I got my first Dingbats notebook I’ve never looked back! For people who really care about paper quality, look no further. The paper is nice and thick and buttery. A true joy to write on! So much better than mole notebooks and better value for money. Plus they feel a lot more premium. I love the nature designs, the leathery feel of the cover and also that it has a slot for a pen, plus a secret pocket at the back to keep any notes or receipts in. Since getting my first one, I’ve bought another 2 for myself and everyone in my team has one now too! Also, I’m someone who cares about supporting companies who are B corp and use business as a force for good, so there’s another bonus if you were looking for one!

It's so beautiful that I'm buying a second one in the same color. Combination of high quality, warmth and functionality. Appearance: The notebook has a bright, saturated purple color and a soap image of a hippopotamus. The cover is porous and embossed. It looks neat, cute and stylish. High quality:. The cover remains intact, the corners do not peel off when used. The sheets are thick and dense. The bookmark does not fall apart. Functionality: The rubber band conveniently holds the notebook closed. The rubber band for the pen is what you need to always have the pen at hand. The bookmark helps you find the page. There is a pocket for small papers, but I don't use it.

This will be my fifth elephant lined dingbat journal so I can definitely say that it is durable, the pages are quality and though a tiny bit more expensive than I used to spend on journals, it is worth the money. Before settling on this journal I used a number of other ones. None of them were bad, at the end of the day, my only requirement was a book with lines to record my daily thoughts, but the dingbats journal edges to the front of the pack. It opens up easily and the pen glides across the quality paper. The design is the epitome of simplistic beauty. And the pen holder as well as the pocket at the back, in which i stash mementos, are useful extras. All in all, I would fully recommend as a journal which is unobtrusive, beautiful in design and super functional.

The journal is sturdy, robust, with a pen loop, chapter marker and elastic band closure. The paper is decent, doesn't bleed fountain pen ink, and smooth to write on, though consequently takes longer to absorb and dry, so if you write long-form rather than page-a-day, you'll have to wait a little longer to turn the page. There major problem? Every page has an (incredibly) easy tear perforation, allowing you to rip out any page smoothly. I don't know why you would want to do that. I'm 20 pages in and am taping the previous sheets to keep them together. This is a notebook rather than a journal, so perhaps Dingbats imagines an army of hipsters scrawling letters with a fountain pen before tearing them out and posting them. The problem is that their next model up of notebook (designed for journaling) is only available in dot-grid (so not journaling, but bullet journaling), and then next next model has less pages, and is very much more expensive. For the money, try the Ottergami pro. It's cheaper, has the same quality of paper and binding, only lacks a pen holder. If the eco credentials of Dingbats is what keeps you coming back, then instead of 2% of sales going to the WWF, you could donate the difference between one of theirs and an Ottergami - closer to 20%.

I bought this notebook as I was fed up with boring ring-bound or plain styles, and wanted something of a higher quality, with a bit of style or something to make it stand out. The embossed animals on the front of this definitely fit the bill, and are only one highlight of this product. I purchased 2 x A5 Lined notepads, one Grey Elephant and one Brown Bear. Both are exceptional quality, and have raised many questions around the office for where they can be purchased from. The pen holder, strap and placemarker are nice touches, and the paper is of great quality and colour. Perforations are there to easily remove sheets of paper, and I have had no leakage of ink or markings from one sheet to the next. I am also delighted by the use of biodegradable and recyclable materials, meaning I have no guilt about where the materials come from. A great notepad, which looks executive and doesn't break the bank, highly recommended.

My favourite notebook for a good reason. The hardcover is sturdy and durable, my notebook accompanied me across many sites, offices and homeworking with months of abuse. It still looks as good as new. The paper quality is what you would expect and stands up to any pen type with no bleedthrough. Pen loop and back pocket are useful additions. The design is professional with the little touches making it stand out.

I had a Dingbats notebook already which I really liked so I decided to order a second one. It unfortunately came with a stain on the first page and something that looked like a hair in the page, right out of the plastic.... a little disappointed. The cover is still gorgeous though.

This is my fourth dingbats book (deer, duck, wolf, elephant) and all I can truly say is that I love them all! I’m not sure if it was the books themselves that made me better at journaling but over the three years I’ve used dingbats I’ve built a habit on journaling, something that I had been trying and failing to get good at since I was like 7. The paper is perfectly smooth so writing is easy, the edges are rounded and don’t poke you if you fall asleep with it (happens way too often), the lines are faint so allows the writing to stand out without being invisible, and fact that it’s made for a good cause just helps that inner saviour complex of mine. (I wish the pages were just a hair thicker so the ink wouldn’t be seen through it, but you tend to not notice it after a while) Can’t recommend these enough!

Depuis que je travaille chez mon employeur actuel, qui a des couleurs dominantes rouges, je me suis plu à prendre un Dingbat de couleur rouge, moi qui prenais des carnets de couleurs noire généralement. Le Bullet journal est très classe : sa texture, sa prise en main sont très appréciées. Il fait également impression aux yeux des autres ! Le papier est d’une excellente qualité et permet d’écrire au Stylo plume sans que l’encre ne se voit pas au verso. Le Porte-stylo est très appréciable pour moi ! Bref, un carnet haut de gamme, dont il est difficile de passer à côté !

It's a very sturdy well made notebook. Very nice "leather" cover and it's feel very luxury. I only use fountainpens and the paper is great for them, no bleeding at all. Very happy for my notebook!

C’è chi le cose le vende per fare cassa, e chi ci aggiunge tutta la sua personalità. Questo quaderno è ricco di anima nella sua comunicazione e anche nella sua essenza. Grande qualità di carta e copertina, nonostante sia un prodotto vegan a toccarlo da un senso di pregiato. Una rilegatura speciale che rende piacevole aprire il quaderno dato che non si chiude da solo come capita spesso almeno per i notebook nuovi. Features come elastico, segnapagina, portapenna e taschino finale gli danno quelle chicche che sono difficili da trovare tutte insieme (magari chi ha una non ha un’altra, qui ci sono tutte, per me il portapenne la più comoda). Esteticamente super piaciuto, è minimal ma vivo anche per i suoi colori (ho preso il canguro rosso). Che dire, CÈ PIACIUT
