The thermometer was a gift for my sister who lives in Scotland and likes to know how cold it is outside (and inside too on occasion!). She is delighted with this thermometer because it changes temperature very quickly when she moves it around from room to room or to outside the house, so she doesn't have to wait long (in the cold).Also, it has LARGE numbers which are very clear and easy to read, so she doesn't have to hunt for her reading glasses (in the cold!).It was a Christmas present, so hasn't been tested in the heat of the summer yet (if we get one) but I'm sure it will be just as useful then and provide an interesting topic of conversation, considering our fixation with weather and the like!

Bought this thermometer in December 2022, for monitoring the temperature in an attached garage - during summer heat but mainly during freezing spells. We have a central heating radiator in the garage but it hadn't been working so used a thermostatically-controlled electric heater during the winter months. Central heating was repaired so heater not required because, although the heating is switched off overnight, I can now confirm that the temperature does not fall below 9 degrees, warm enough for the F/F to run without problems. I have additional normal thermometers, which confirmed the temperatures.A very useful purchase.

Good little gauge I bought to help me keep a track of overnight temperatures in the stables.Easy to read but not convinced by the accuracy of the gauge. It’s read 20 degrees as it’s highest but I’ve only had it since November and it’s certainly not been anything like that warm yet. It was in the sun but even still.Overall not a bad thing fir the money & I've recommended it to a friend.

Ok, the roof-shaped moulding at the top looks silly, but the functional part of this max/min thermometer is very good indeed, and very simple to use. There's hole on the back so you can wall-mount it if you want, but I stand mine on a shelf, high up but out of direct sun.There are just two buttons: one to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit, and the other to reset the max/min readings, which you should of course do once per day if you're keeping track. The temperature is samples every ten seconds, and is accurate to a twnth of a degree (Celsius). There's a nice big easy-to-read display, so even with my terrible eyesight I have no trouble reading it.I'm hoping I'll have a nice crop of greenhouse tomatoes this year, and this thermometer is going to help me get the best out of them!

Works well in the potting shed. A good buy.

Works as expected, good clear display and very easy to operate / understand. Unable to say how robust it is as it primarily made from plastic and whilst fit for purpose I have no idea how life in the Greenhouse, with it varying temperatures will affect it.

Seems to work ok but I had to reattach the front screen as it was loose in the box ,

These have held up well in high tunnels and have been very accurate. Like any thermometer they need to be shielded from direct light (even inside a greenhouse) to be accurate.

Faccio questa recensione dopo oltre un anno dall'acquisto. Sono molto soddisfatto. Il termometro mi serviva per la casa di montagna. Mi interessava verificare quale temperatura si rilevava durante la stagione fredda quando la casa era chiusa a termosifoni spenti. Il termometro ha funzionato perfettamente, non consuma quasi la batteria ed è molto preciso. preciso che però l'ho provato sempre al chiuso.Unico difetto il design: esteticamente a mio avviso è un pò bruttino, ma è questione di gusti.la consegna è stata rapida e perfetta.

I needed a thermometer that would read current, max and min temperatures and this unit that wonderfully. The display is very readable.

We mounted the thermometer inside an exterior wall of an unheated attached garage, where stated temperatures have ranged during the past couple of weeks from the low 20s to the high 50s, Fahrenheit. The readouts have seemed “truthy,” though we have not attempted to validate them. Resetting the thermometer requires a surprising amount of finger pressure on the button. The good news: one is unlikely to do so accidentally.
