I DID NOT BUY THE GINGER OIL , I GOT THE SANDLEWOOD AND THE PATCHEOLI. BUT I IMAGINE THAT IF ITS OIL IT COULD STAIN.

Smells like aniseed

Not the usual basil smell at all, very strong aniseed smell which I don't find pleasant. I got it to repel flies but don't think I could stand the smell around the house. May have to try it in the outside bin instead.
