Low Latency for Steam Deck and PC plus Hi Fidelity for Mobile
First Thing: UPDATE these ear buds. You need to do it TWICE! Get the JBL app for your phone and software update the buds, then get the JBL Quantum Engine App for PC (or Mac) and do the firmware update. Before the updates I could only get one bud/channel to work with Android using the dongle, and after the updates both buds work. So far I have tested the USB-C Dongle with PC, Steam Deck, iPad, and Android - it works well with all devices listed providing low latency, and high(er) fidelity, sound. I tested multiple games on Steam Deck, including Hi-Fi Rush (a rhythm game), and had no latency issues. The Dongle is true plug and play (no setup needed) on every device except PC. Plugging in the USB-C Dongle prompted a download of Quantum Engine, and inside the QE app you can set EQ and tweak the Surround Sound settings. I tested the buds in Battlefield V on PC and the surround sound worked well. Adjusting the EQ in the QE app on PC is easy and necessary in order to get the most pleasing sound. The only device I’m using Bluetooth with is my Android phone and the sound is fine - use the JBL app to adjust the EQ. The Android App offers a FULL EQ, not the typical/lame EQ for dummies a lot of ear bud devices ship with. I’ve only had the JBL Quantum TWS Airs (that name lol) for a short time, so I can’t offer a comprehensive review yet. I will say they are very light and fit well in my ears. There is no wing, or stabilizer, so these might not be great for active on-the-go situations. The stock EQ needed a tweak for my ears, and the Apps make that easy. The sound quality via the USB-C Dongle is a noticeable upgrade in terms of latency and fidelity. These are better for music than I anticipated, and from reviews I read this is one of the big differences from the more expensive, and older version, of this line of Quantum TWS buds. Battery life is much shorter using the Dongle, and that makes sense as the low latency signal is more power hungry than Bluetooth. I spent some time looking for low latency wireless ear buds and this is one the most affordable options out there ($40 on sale). Hopefully in time more companies will offer similar low latency earbuds, or maybe Bluetooth will get good enough to make a product like this irrelevant.

These. Are. Awesome!
I was looking for a better pair of BT Earbuds for Music and Gaming on my SteamDeck than the $20 ones I usually get, but still at a reasonable price. I came across these and the ASUS ROG Cetra's. So I purchased them both to test them and then keep the ones I liked better. These were better in every aspect! Sound Quality : Rich, clear sound with deep bass and crisp highs and vocals. App : Complete customization of the earbuds! Gives you all the info you need and an easy to use, clean interface. The app has a Test to determine if the Earbuds are sealed within the ear canal and will also determine the best Noise Canceling and give suggestions if they're not. Comfort/ Case : Great fit! Earbuds are easy to grab and return to the Case, charging works well. I do wish they had Wireless Charging for the Case. Battery : They last long enough for my Sessions. Haven't done anything over a couple hours. But from what I've read from other Reviews they last anywhere from 6-8 hrs depending on how you have the settings and how loud you listen to them. Noise Canceling : I tested these while I was getting Dinner at a Restaurant and I can tell you the ANC works really well! I also like the Ambient Aware feature that allowed you to hear your surround while keeping your Music/ Audio going. Can customize what they do when you use the Touch Features.

They are great, just a problem with the dongle
They have an excellent sound quality, the ANC works pretty well and it's also adaptative, I'm not a fan of a talk-through function I think it's best to just pause your music. The headphones are pretty comfortable and fit perfectly for my ear, the battery life is very good too. The case is a little too big for carrying it on a pocket but still can fit. It charges pretty fast too and I appreciate that. The voice assistant is very useful, it can read and answer message and read u all your notifications. Also control smart home devices which I use a lot. Only problem with it is that the dongle doesn't work very well with other smartphones or tablets, I read that the Pc firmware update can fix that but my Pc doesn't have a usb-c port and I haven't been able to buy an adapter (and it can't connect to the pc app by Bluetooth for some reason). Definitely a good purchase still just for it's in-app customization, voice assistant features and sound quality.

Good features marred by poor battery life and quirks
I got these to use mainly for work using Teams on my PC (dongle) and calls through bluetooth on my phone. Calls work well enough on both devices. Audio quality is very good and microphone is serviceable without complaints. Connecting to different devices was simple. The buds are quite small and light. They are comfortable to wear and don't come loose easily. The JBL Quantum app that installs on the PC is pretty neat and allows a decent number of setting modifications as well as manual switching between dongle and bluetooth connections which I haven't seen anywhere else. It also looks pretty neat. Audio volume on Windows 11, for whatever reason, was through the roof. Normally, the windows sound mixer has all apps at 100% and the master volume control regulates everything. With these buds, Even at 2% they were too loud. I had to manually reduce all the app volumes in the sound mixer to 10% to get a decent range of volume. No idea why and it's the only one I've had that issue with. The case, buds, and dongle are made of very cheap plastic - not what you would expect from a $150 set of earbuds at the higher end of the JBL lineup. Even at the price I paid ($75) I would've expected better materials. Soundcore, JLab, and any number of more budget brands are superior in this regard. The battery life is simply terrible. Runs only a few hours (if that) on a full charge so you'll have to either use one at a time or just make sure you keep charging them throughout the day. I ended up returning these as there are other competitors with this feature set and price range (Jabra Evolve2, JLab Epic Lab, etc.)

JBL has knocked this out of the park
These are my first pair of gaming earbuds, in fact my first earbuds period. I have only used over the ear gaming headphones for my PlayStation consoles forever, but after receiving these JBL's and pairing them to my PS5? I was simply blown away. I had noticed before buying these that many were returned and for the life of me, I don't understand why, because IMO these are a high quality product from JBL. Let me go over why I love these so much. First the feel and freedoms of not having a bulking headset while gaming or listening to music which I was equally impressed with. As for the sound? It had that punchy bass, clear treble I had never had before with my the over ear head sets. And the volume on these are powerful and loud. I actually had to turn in down. I'm not sure why there were so many complaints about the battery life. I played for a little over their suggested time getting well into the 20 hours range on a full charge. Then there is also the ease of use with just a few taps left or right, no more searching for the scroll wheels or buttons to find with most over the ear headsets. Pairing these to my cell and PS5 was instantaneous. You get a notification, "Dongle Connected" as well as by tapping the left and right buds for other options. The charging case has a magnetic portal where the buds easily fall into place. You also have a slot to store the dongle. It also has 3 charging lights while connected with the Type C cord that let you know when running low or fully charged. Another fine attribute. Moving on to the ANC. This was my only gripe. I live in extreemly noisy environment, NYC. While it was drowning out some of the noise while gaming I was still able to enjoy my playing time. For me personally? The Pros far Outweigh the one small Con. As for the mic? I can't comment on this as I am a loner when I play my games. However, while talking with a friend before buying these he mentioned if I could give the mic a try once I'm up and running with these since he is also a gamer that might be interested in buying these if the mic quality is good. Once we give this a shot? I will add it to this review in the near future. My final thoughts. JBL has knocked this out of the park. They are an amazing pair of earbuds. Everything from the comfort, the sound, and the ease of use has got me convinced I will never wear over the ear headsets again. Excellent Job JBL!!!

Absolute garbage. Nothing works right.
I really wanted to like these with a $150 price tag, but I've given them 3 months now, and they've gone from bad to worse. Using them on a phone the quality was bad enough that without soliciting it, everyone I called was telling me how much worse my phone quality was. I decided to go with a different headset for the phone, and just use these for the laptop. 1.) If you watch a YouTube video, there's a very slight, but infuriating lag causing the video to be out of sync with the audio. If you go into your settings, switch to a different sound device, then switch back, this will sometimes "sync" it better. No idea why. But you have to do this every time you switch to a new video. 2.) If you download the JBL Quantum app (their own page that has this very headset with the link) it can't detect this headset. Even when you have the case directly connected to the USB. The app simply doesn't do anything. 3.) Randomly, something will glitch in the headset and you get a bad "crackle" every time audio comes through. Only a reboot of the computer fixes this. 4.) The lifetime of the battery in the headsets is abysmal. With some headsets now boasting 30 hours on a single charge, these things get MAYBE an hour before the "BATTERY LOW!" warning starts coming through. You can forget trying to DM an online DnD session with these (ask how I know.) 5.) The left and right earpiece seem to sometimes lose connection, and one or the other will go silent for a moment. In short, literally NOTHING about these earpieces work. They don't do a single thing they're supposed to do, correctly, and for $150 that's just insane. I won't be purchasing another JBL product at all based on this experience.

Decent overall considering the discounted price
So I bought these earbuds on discount for $75 on Black Friday, and I want to share some thoughts I have about this thing. 1. It's not exactly perfectly low latency. I play rhythm games a lot, and I do notice a slight amount of latency even with the "low latency" dongle mode. I've tried disabling any audio processing on Windows, but it's still the same. The latency is fairly low given that it's wireless. You'll be hard pressed to notice for other games like Valorant, but there's just a touch of latency which prevents me from using it for rhythm games in particular. 2. Audio is pretty good. Very bass heavy as you'd expect, but there is an EQ so you can change it around. Once you balance it out with the EQ I think the audio quality is quite exceptional for these buds. 3. Battery life is mid. When you use it in low-latency mode the battery dies in around 3-4 hours without ANC or processing. Probably take off an hour if you had it on. The bluetooth mode lasts for much longer, I'd peg it around 6 hours (although I've never fully drained it in bluetooth yet). 4. Charging is fairly fast for both the case and the earbuds. 5. There are some strange audio artifacts (glitching and occasionally choppy audio) with the dongle. This happens very occasionally, and I've tried disabling interference like from Wi-Fi and other 2.4Ghz accessories but it still occurs. 6. I think the touch controls are hard to learn. The one for switching modes is fairly straightforward, but pairing, switching, and learning play/pause is not intuitive. 7. Noise cancellation is quite weak compared to many other earbuds on the market, similar with the "transparency mode" on these things. Talk-thru actually is OK, but sounds artificial and you can definitely tell the noise from outside is piped in. 8. They sit comfortably in the ears and don't feel like they're gonna fall out. However, at least for me, they get uncomfortable over like 1 hour of wearing. Overall, given the discounted $75 price I think they're a great pair of buds, better than other $99 Bluetooth buds on the market. At the original $150, there are much better options (without low latency dongle). And gamers beware, if you are planning to use these for latency critical audio tasks, these are NOT for you. Stick to wired or look for something else. These get quite close but I still notice a tad bit of audio latency.

I’m absolutely loving them!
The JBL Quantum TWS is one of the best earbuds I've ever owned. As an audio enthusiast with a collection of over 20 headphones—both over-ear and earbuds—I can confidently say this one stands out. I also own the Sony Inzone earbuds, and while they deliver excellent sound quality, the JBL Quantum TWS impresses with its deep bass and well-balanced mids, producing clear and immersive audio with no noticeable noise. The ANC isn’t the strongest, but considering the price, it performs exceptionally well. I got them for just $90, and at this price point, it's hard to find competitors that match both the sound and build quality. I also have the AirPods Pro 2, and to my ears, the JBL Quantum TWS holds its own. In fact, I’d even say it has an edge due to its punchy bass and customizable EQ settings. I've owned other JBL headphones before, but this one has exceeded my expectations. With its low-latency connection, these earbuds are now my go-to choice for gaming. I’m absolutely loving them!

Nice buds
I love them. Great for work where i can also hear my surroundings. Comfortable fit. Using lightspeed with usb-c dongle for gaming is nice when i don't want to wear my big headphones. Although the charge lasts for around 2-3 hours on lightspeed connection, which is fine with me but some may not like. Bluetooth connection lasts pretty well all day. I'm happy with sound quality, I'm not a big audiophile or anything though.

Buena compra

Owesome product
But had an issue connecting through wireless dongle. I can only hear one side adter connecting to donlge. Don’t know don’t know if there is any solution for this if there is any solution reply me in my comment thank you very much. I don’t felt like any issue in this JB LTWS condom product but the main problem is when I’m connecting to wireless dongle. I can only hear left ear but don’t know if there is any solution. I think it this soundcore we are PTWS is more better than JBL because the customer service of JBL is very very poor very much poor it’s annoying and disturbing and not true. They are not seems to be like dealing with a customer because if there is a customer comment or no provide any Negativepoint of the product they should provide the customer best service because I have already mentioned and I have already mailed that while connecting the dongle it’s not 111 AirPod not working but now there is no response. I am returning back this order.
