Excellent - ease of use, quality & connectivity
Bought this unit for our old MB, as an add on to use CarPlay on. My expectations were not too high, given the price point and a past experience with another unit. I was extremely impressed with this product! The ease of installation, connectivity, screen quality, and simplicity - very straightforward. It supports CarPlay fully - used multiple apps like Maps, Spotify etc . No issues at all. (they also support Android's version, but I haven't used that). Audio with the built-in speakers is very good too. Though I have been using with Bluetooth to connect to our car stereo; setting that up was very easy too. The one thing to note is that it remembers the last one it connected to, so if you forget to disconnect, connecting to a new one takes a few steps. Not impossible, but not ideal either. If you use only one phone, not an issue at all. The base is easy to attach to, with the sticky strips very strong to hang on to the dash. Power is from the "cigarette lighter" 12V port (I think it supports batteries too, but not used that). Overall, I've been very impressed with the product. Have recommended to several friends.

Best 10.26” Portable CarPlay Screen I’ve Tested – Bright, Responsive, Instant Setup
Just installed this in my 2012 truck (no factory screen) and it’s a total game-changer. Why it’s awesome: • Huge 10.26” IPS touchscreen – 1600×600 resolution, super sharp and bright even in direct sunlight. • Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto connect in literally 5–7 seconds every time I start the car – no cables needed after the first Bluetooth/Wi-Fi pairing. • Touch response is snappy, zero lag when using Waze, Spotify, or Google Maps. • Suction cup + adhesive dash mount both included – I used the suction on the windshield and it hasn’t moved in 3 weeks of 100 °F+ heat. • Built-in speaker is loud enough for navigation, but I just use Bluetooth to my car speakers anyway (works perfectly). • Front + rear camera input – hooked up a cheap backup cam and now I have a full reversing camera too. Tiny notes (not really cons): • Takes about 8–10 seconds to boot up (totally normal for these units). • FM transmitter works, but Bluetooth audio sounds way better. For under $150 (sometimes way less on sale), this thing makes any old car feel modern. Picture quality, speed, and ease of use blow away every other portable unit I’ve tried. If you want wireless CarPlay/Android Auto without spending $400+, just get this one.

Jittery at the best of times: customer service 10/10
Update below review: ————————————————————— I’ve found that it works for the most part of what it’s trying to accomplish, but not elegantly. The set up was alright, the settings are very sparse however so if you want to have something with more customization, go look elsewhere. The stock boot up image and sound CANNOT be changed, and it’s obnoxious. I’ve only had it about a week and it’s been starting to completely disconnect and restart out of nowhere, I use this for the maps and music ease but when the map looks like it’s stuttering to catch up it becomes distracting while driving. Spotify works well enough. I Don’t recommend this, it’s just a waste of time and money. The price point is what got me interested but it is not worth the headache of the issues I’ve had. Just get something else. ————————————————————— UPDATE: I got in touch with customer support and they were very understanding and offered to refund the order aswell as help fix some minor issues I had. I did change the rating from a 2 star to a 4 star and that’s because the customer service from the company deserves it. I hope that the product in time will reflect this dedication to their customers. I do still stand by my review however but the customer service is top notch.

great budget friendly upgrade!
i was really unsure if i wanted to take a chance on one of these screens since i’ve seen such mixed reviews, but so far the screen is performing well. i ordered mine last night and got it this morning, it was really easy to set up, the hardest part was hiding the wiring but that’s optional of course. i managed to completely hide the wiring except for where it plugs into the screen and it looks really good. my car already has an infotainment screen so i wasn’t sure if i really needed one of these carplay screens, but it definitely makes a huge difference. i love seeing my upcoming calendar events and accessing my spotify without going on my phone. i’ve also used siri a few times since setting it up and it’s so helpful. the screen has good image quality and is pretty responsive, it actually loads quicker than my original car screen. once i plugged it into my car i just had to bluetooth my phone to the screen and allow carplay, and i didn’t even have to bluetooth the screen to my car or anything, my audio plays just like normal. i still use my steering wheel to control volume and skip songs/etc which was important to me when looking for carplay screens. the startup screen is obnoxious and i’m not sure why there’s no option to change it, but i’m going to follow the review that said how to, should be an easy fix. the startup sound really isn’t that big of a deal, yes it’s not ideal, but this is a budget option so i’m fine with it. overall so far so good! i’ll update if anything goes wrong.

A few issues, but cheap and functional.
The device works reasonably well. The display is clear and easy to use. It's easy to set up and works well most of the time. I have a few issues, though, that I have to dock it 2 stars for. 1: Bluetooth connectivity is occasionally iffy. My phone will simply act like there's nothing to connect to, or sometimes it will see the device and refuse to connect. When this happens, I have to unplug it, wait a few moments, then plug it back in. Not the end of the world, but a definite annoyance. 2: The Maps/Waze display shows EITHER day OR night. There's a timer function to switch at dusk to night, but it does nothing. I have to manually switch it, which is dangerous while you're driving. 3: The plastic mount that comes with it is flimsy. No matter how tightly I turn the set screw, one side of it sags. Other than those issues, it's not bad, especially considering the price.

Just buy a phone holder instead
Update: The reps from this company monitor the reviews and reached out within 2 days of the review going live. They unconditionally offered me a refund, which I've graciously accepted. I want to send them the device back, but they asked me to keep it. I'm updating this review to 5 stars only because they are good people and are trying to build their brand. I hope the next iteration of this product solves all these problems. Thank you Podofo. ----------- If you are having problems, return this thing in the returns period or else you'll be stuck with it. This device is amazing - on paper. In the real world, it does everything it's supposed to do, but it does a whole bunch of other infuriating things which make this device useless. Pros: Nice screen. Great when it works. Cons: many cons 1. Constantly disconnects. You have to remove or set all saved wifis and public wifis to not connect automatically otherwise you'll lose connection when you're driving around. Even then, it will disconnect every 30 minutes or 1 hour for unknown reasons. 2. It takes anywhere between 5 seconds or 5 minutes to reconnect, during which time, you don't have any directions. I always have to pull over or somehow unlock my phone, launch maps, type in the address to resume navigation. Total hassle. 3. The device connects with a headset and media profile. Even if you uncheck the boxes for phone call and media in it's Bluetooth properties, it will still connect and take over your phone again and again and again... It is very frustrating when it does this when I'm on a phone call. I almost always have to pull it's cord to turn it off when I take a phone call. The built in speaker and mic are also just terrible. 3. Gps is laggy on the map even when my phone is on the dash. Maps shows my location correctly, but this device sometimes thinks I'm still in the parking lot a mile away. 4. This company's support is a ridiculous waste of time. I think they want to waste your time till your They asked me to factory reset, then they sent me an IMG file to flash on the device... Their device flasher is in Mandarin and keeps throwing errors. They made me try with different SD cards but same error. I tried opening the IMG file with different flashers but none of them can show me what's in it. Podofo: if you CARE, I want to return this device.

Excellent Product
Bought this a little over a year ago still working flawlessly. Clean bright touch screen, connects to iphone easily. Only issue I had was when I changed cars I needed a new mounting tape and couldn't find one, contacted the company and they offered to send me one at no cost, that is great customer service. Would definitely buy this again.

A nice upgrade to you car.
I put this on the dash of our 2012 Enclave and now have a screen to see maps, access CarPlay, etc just like newer cars. Works well. The Bluetooth connection to the car radio is somewhat statically. You need to change stations at times.
