As specified. They have slight padding so are comfortable for short gatherings/uses. They fold up easy and even came with little plastic adapters that snap on the legs that when folded can keep all 4 connected making easier for storage and moving around as needed.

Can't go wrong with Cosco. I have folding tables and hand trucks from this company and am more than pleased with all. These chairs, however, are a cut above. They are more compact than traditional folding chairs when folded (shorter) yet are the same when unfolded. They're sturdy, look great, and fold up easily. The fantastic bonus is that they come with little clips to snap the chairs together when folded up, so you don't risk one falling and taking down the rest! It makes them easy to move and store together. I love having these for extra seating when needed because they look fancy compared to plain metal or cheap plastic. A great buy - might buy even more in other colors!

Nice quality for the price ~ sturdy

Good basic folding chairs. They are nice and sturdy. There was a little damage to one of the chairs due to UPS delivery but I decided to keep them instead of the hassle of replacing them because despite the dents they are still functional.

We've had earlier versions for years, but one didn't survive years of 3 messy toddlers and we needed more. I was impressed by how sturdy the new version still is. The cushions are better than before, but the design stays true to the quick setup/take down form they we've been accustomed to. Definitely happy with this purchase.
