It doesn't eliminate it completely but helps towards making the house vaguely habitable whilst waiting for the foul odour to ease with the passage of nature and time! It is expensive but effective and we like that it is made of essential oils as we didn't want to breathe in an artificial fragrance inside our home. Review: Works on dead mouse smell. - Had a dead mouse under the boards beneath the water tank in the loft which stank and permeated our loft bedroom and the first floor landing. Put this in the area next to the water tank and it started working instantly. Probably took a couple of days for the smell to completely go. The airing cupboard directly below was the only area that still had a smell so we bought a sachet of something different and put it in there (only because it was cheaper and it was a small space.) If the sachet hadn't worked we would have bought another Ona gel as couldn't ask for anything to work better. So easy to use - just shake, peel off the inside seal and put it where you want it. The block, however, is a small pot of solid air neutraliser block and works just as well as the gel. I have tried both as I keep pet birds so need a neutraliser rather than a heavily perfumed cover up which could affect the birds, breathing. Something has died under my floorboards and the smell was horrendous i couldn’t even open the living room door it was so bad. After scouring Amazon i found Ona I read the reviews and was a bit sceptical with the price and some reviews saying it didn’t work but it definitely works I received this yesterday opened it half way put it in the corner of the room where the smell was most potent and this morning upon opening the door I was still expecting the smell to be there but to my surprise I couldn’t smell anything.. it still smells slightly in that corner but as long as i don’t go over there the room smells fresh!
