Sad to report thatnthesenshoes give severe blisters.Never had this before with any shoe. The blistering is on the sole at the front under what I believe you would call the cuboid bone or as I would say the padded area at the base of the big toe...Very painful.Think this is caused because the sole is padded and made of a nonleather material. I have noticed my feet are a lot sweatier in thses shies than previous all leather types.I can't recommend. Shame they seem smart and look like they would be reasonably hard wearing.** Update** the blisters stopped after the shoes had broken however the inner is the issue as it is a synthetic that doesn't feel very breathable. They do look smart and are well cushioned so no longer a 1* review. They will do for now but next time I'll buy something with a proper leather inner.

Tried on and found them very comfortable indeed

My son is in 6th form and throughout school life I have bought black wide fitting shoes and they have lasted very little time coming away at the sole... Etc. I usually spend 35/45 pound but got fed up of sending back or complaining about quality. These shoes are excellent had many months now and no sign of splits or coming away. No scuffs nothing to complain about at all. The wide fit is great. He has had no sore ankles or anything from initially wearing. They still look in excellent condition
