Easy installation.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE TOP BARS THAT ARE 8.9 IN. HIGH WERE BENT OVER, THE BOTTOM SECTION WAS NOT 7.6 IN HIGH, AND (ON THE FILE IMAGES) THE THE 27.1 MEASUREMENT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE TOP RISER TO THE GROUND WAS ONLY 22 NOT 27.1. THE WHOLE THING WAS ONLY 27 IN TALL. THIS HAS TOTALLY PUT MY STAIRS PROJECT BEHIND UNTIL I CAN RETURN THEM, AND GET SOMETHING ELSE THAT IS TRUE TO SIZE AND NOT DAMAMGED AS WELL. THE TOOL KIT WAS THE BEST PART, IT CAME AND THE TOOL WOULD HAVE COME IN HANDY. THEY LLOED SOLIDLY MADE BUT BETWEEN THE DAMAGED TOPS AND THE HEIGHT NOT CORRECT, I CAN'T USE THEM.

I wish I’d of found these years ago! I’ve been in my house for a little over 20 years and have replace the stringers on my deck twice. The old homeowner clearly made things up as he went and cut custom stringers which didn’t help them last, unfortunately when making new I always matched the old so I could do less modifications. There’s nothing like walking down the steps everyday wondering if today is the day you fall through. As you can see by the dirt spot these stringers pulled the steps back about 15” but they’re now the correct pitch and the steps are all equal. Best of all using the bullnosed 2x12 steps these things are rock solid!
