North America will soon be treated to two major solar eclipses, when the Sun, Moon, and Earth align. On October 14, 2023, anyone under clear skies within a path that sweeps from Oregon to Texas and then through parts of Central and South America will see an annular ("ring") eclipse. Just six months later, on April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will sweep from Mexico to Texas to the Canadian Maritimes, plunging day into night and revealing the magnificent solar corona for anyone fortunate to be within the path of totality and under clear skies. Nearly everyone in North America will have a partial solar eclipse both days, weather permitting.

Works as advertised,
Tried them outside on a clear day. They fit over my glasses just fine and provided a clean, no glare view of the sun. Cannot wait to try them out for the 4/8/24 eclipse.

Muy buenas
Son buenas, el filtro funciona perfectamente pero como son sobrepuestas hay q tener cuidado con marcos gruesos.

Love the clip ons!
We used these for the last eclipse. It was so helpful for me to have a clip on pair for my glasses. Other family members used the other ones. It was very helpful and I plan to use them again in April. Thanks.

Sturdy, doesn’t feel cheap
We were able to view the eclipse without having to worry about our glasses falling off

Solar Eclipse glasses clip ONS
The shade of the lens is nice but the clips keep the shades too high on my glasses to cover the entire lens. They will work for the most part. Will just need to be careful to look through the to of my glasses

Better than the cardboard “glasses!”
Wish we had these in 2017!We used them for the Annular Eclipse in October (we live right in the Path of Annularity), and we plan to use them again in April when we travel to the Path of Totality for the Total Solar Eclipse in 2024. They are easy to clip on to one’s regular glasses, and did not leave scratches on the inside of the lenses, which we were concerned about. Of course, you should pay attention to the size of these clip-ons relative to the size of your own glasses, because if your lenses are much bigger, you will not be fully protected.

They work
I got these after the eclipse so did not get to view that, but I have looked at the sun with them. They clipped over most of my sunglasses with ease, but they would not clip on to one pair with thicker tops. Also, if you have thin wire-framed or frameless glasses for your vision, the clips will not hold onto them.Since I missed the eclipse, I used them to look at the full sun, and they are very similar to the material I use on my telescope for doing solar observing. And I like the fact that you get 2 pairs of cardboard glasses as well. They all work the same. It's a cool little set and now I'm ready for the next solar eclipse.

Fits my glasses perfectly
Looking forward to using these glasses for the 2024 total solar eclipse! Bought them early to ensure I'd have them ready for the big day. I did try them on and looked at the sun, and they worked exactly as expected. The two paper pairs of glasses were also nice and worked well over wire-rimmed glasses. They also have the added benefit of blocking out light on the sides of the glasses which is a nice benefit.
