20 Set 4040 Series Aluminum Extrusion Profile Connector Black

I use 4040 aluminum to build a roof rack on my van. This corner bracket is very rigid. I like it.

These work great and are much cheaper than other brackets. Though the nuts did need to be grinded down to fit in 1545 aluminum from tnutz.

These are good for basic items. I have used them For various mounts I’ve made. I have broken a few of them when used for main support.

I got the "20 Set Black 4040 Series with M8 screw nut" and both brackets and 8mm bolts were fine; however, the T-nuts were way too wide at the bottom of the nut to fit any of my 4040 extruded tubing. I ended up using separately purchased carriage bolts and nylon-insert nuts that I had on hand. Seller contacted me to correct for the error. This would have been five-stars if the nuts where correct, I gave 4-stars because rest of product was rock on and seller actually cared.

The brackets and 8mm bolts were fine, but the t nuts were too wide to fit my 4040. luckily i had a bag of them from a different vendor. Seller contacted me after my first review and offered a full refund, and said they would address the issue with their supplier

Easy to assemble, serves the purpose. Would buy again. Recommended.

Overall was good value. But the T Nuts were very sub par. No spring mechanism at all to hold in place for use on vertical members. Also you can only fit into the extrusion sliding in an open end. So you can't add a T Nut to an assembled member.
