Surprisingly pretty accurate and works well
Works well and it’s cheaper than the ones at the hydro store.

Great for incubators
I bought this for use in my incubator with quail eggs. It works great. I sit the display on the outside, and the probes inside. The last display I put inside died from too much moisture behind the screen, this solves that problem nicely. So far with my latest hatch 33 of 39 eggs have hatched - I believe this to be from better humidity control. However this hygrometer does not have the same readings as the dial one that I also bought. I am not sure which is more accurate, but I base all my care off of the digital one's reading.

Incubating eggs
Got to verify incubator temp. It is pretty close. I have 2 of these and they are with in a degree of each other so i just average them out for my crap incubator temp. The humidity is more off like 3 degrees but that is not as important when it comes to incubating eggs as temp is. With eggs hatch rate is directly related to temp so if it is off by as much as half a degree you hatch will be effected. You cant get a good hatch rate if you incubate much less then 99.5-100.5 F° With humidity as long as its close you will be fine. If you need 45-65% a few % up or down wont make a huge diff as long as you switch between the top%and bottom%.Also remember if your hatching raise the humidity to no less then 70% when you stop turning the eggs.I hate how expensive these have gotten. I bought these 3 ish years ago and for 2 it was $7

Accurate to one another with a variety of mounting options
These are more accurate than I expected given the price point. I set up 17 of them all side-by-side and evaluated both the temperature and humidity readings over a period of about a week. These are very accurate, and they are very accurate to one another. Generally, between the 17 of them, the temperature in Fahrenheit was within .6° of one another. They also seemed quite accurate given the other thermometers that I have used in the past. They have a clip for mounting and also a magnet. The magnet is fairly strong, but it could be stronger. The humidity readings are generally within 1% of one another. That seems highly accurate to me also. I am very satisfied with these units.

Great value for low cost
Had this for 3 years and used it indoors. Calibrated by occasionally taking the unit outside and comparing the reading with the official weather in my area and it seems to be accurate. Today it's raining and it does read 99% humidity. This has been a great value for the money.

Update: "Not so" Finally a really solid and inexpensive unit! This one, get this one.
loving it. tested it with local weather, tested it with other thermometers, and another hygrometer at the local university. It takes a while for the hygrometer to settle in, in a new spot, or to show changes; but, once it does, I was only seeing a disparity of +1 at most. The thermometer was always spot on.Will be buying more for expanding my systems.Update 11/22/18Ive now been using this for just under a month.I use this in a subtropical enclosure, at 75° ambiant temp/ approx 85% humidity. The temperature readings have seemingly stayed accurate. I've removed the unit and tested it jn other known Temps, variation has been +.5 every time. I can handle that. The hygrometer however is just a really poor unit. The resistor they use is of such low quality that the body of it seems to be quite water logged, or maybe it has just failed. keep in mind, I do not use a mist system or anything, no spraying, no standing water has touched the probe. My probe constantly says 99%, however. Now, if I could get this thing up to 99% without a fog or drops, even once a week, my plants and frogs would be in love. That just isn't something I can do though, because there is too much airflow. So, my conclusion. is that the hygrometer sensor probes are either being build with low quality and faulty resistors, or the hygrometer is just a lie altogether on this item.Anyhow, screw spending 5$ on items that don't work. Going back to the classic $20 Honeywell indoor/outdoor station

works good, easy to read
python like to pull the sensors off the sides of the tank and put both in her water dish, so had to hide them. Temperature im iffy about. In a 40 gallon tank it reads a difference of 21⁰ on average from the bottom of the tank to the top. The hygrometer will range from 39% to 99%, although will point out again ky snake is a pain and likes to soak them in her water, might have messed it up. Analog hygrometers tend to hover 50% to 65%. So im blaming the snake instead of this product. She hates things on the glass of her tank.

Works as Needed
Product is easy to use and understand. Able to select In and Outdoor (Wherever you place the temp and/or humidity probes), C and F, an Min/Max. Does not give you an all-time or 24 hr min/max although you just have to hold the min/max button to easily reset the one you'd like. I give it 5-stars. The backing of has a magnet (holds to a metal pole through 600D Nylon fabric!) and is able to be wall mounted or set upright on a table top (has a small stand that kicks out). Product was actually more functional than I thought.
