I received a used product, thinking I would receive a new one. It was clearly defective and was sent back by at least one other person. The plumber who came to install it, detected the defects right away. Shipping was also late.

Works great. Read the instructions and watch a video. We mainly use it to fill our ice maker and our ice has never looked so clear.

I was having a hard time locating this system, and I'm not sure why I didn't think to check Amazon first—thankfully, I found it there.This system is highly effective, reducing over 95% of contaminants from the water, providing clean and safe drinking water straight from your tap. The installation is straightforward, and the included faucet is both functional and sleek, fitting nicely into my kitchen setup.Given how difficult these systems can be to find, I'm glad I finally got my hands on one through Amazon. Follow Directions to the T on cleaning and installing. Its a plumbing device something is bound to leak the first time. Hold your mouth right and install it and run before you see another drop.

Do not buy this system if you have a single sink basin with a garbage disposal. The drain tube assembly cannot work in the space above the ptrap unless you want to set it up for remote location but that’s not what I wanted. After multiple trips to Home Depot and $40 in tubes and adapters to create a work around we ended up with so many leaks and it was a disaster and gave up . GE should have had a disclaimer about the limitations of this product. Disappointed because it seemed like good product otherwise.

Went through the installation process, which was quite easy, and turned on the water to the system. Started leaking from where the filters attach to the manifold. Turned off the water and inspected the filters. Didn't find anything clearly indicating it could be the cause, so I reinstalled the filters. Of course it leaked again so I had to shut off the water. I looked in the manual for troubleshooting guidance, and there was nothing about leaking at the filter connections. I did some searching online, and I don't know how this product is so highly rated on Amazon. Other sellers' reviews on this product indicate about a 50/50 chance you get one that isn't leaky like this. I would not recommend and will be returning through Amazon.

I purchased ours from Home Depot installed myself, installation was simple the hardest part was working on your back under the sink. Only be sure to push the tubes in all the way, ask me how I learned this. We had the water tested and it was pure, we mainly use it for cooking and drinking, I highly recommend this product, it's going on three months since installation, note it takes about a 30 seconds to fill a four cup measuring cup.
