For just shy of £15 I wasn't expecting much! However I had a Mercedes technician come out take a look at my E-Class recently and while there I asked him if he could just see if this reader married up to what was on his very expensive piece of diagnostic equipment. It took awhile to be dedicated via Bluetooth & I wasn't expecting the world more just to have a rough idea of what the issue might be - saving a lot of money and time in the process. In this case, £100 for a diagnosis at a main dealership... The error codes were different, however it correctly identified the same faulty sensor so seems invaluable to have in the car in case you need to know whether your car is safe or otherwise to drive in the event of a warning light. Overall, cheap, does the job, you really can't complain

I'm using it with Car Scanner for Android, which is free, but if you want to remove adds (which aren't bothersome) it's about £5. On my 2012 Mini Countryman All4 R60, it detected failed glow plugs, glow plug module, start/stop vacuum sensor, clogged DPF, etc, etc. I was able to get the issues fixed and clear the codes from the on board car computer. There was one interesting error that came up regarding the car security system, after I'd cleared the REAL errors. This seems to be if I start the car with a cloned key, when I bought this car the garage only had one key, so they had it cloned. The cloned key generates a spurious DTC code, but the original mini one doesn't... On my 2013 BMW 116 SE its detected many errors but I've cleared them out and am going to start letting them be detected again. This car has had little use and I think many of the errors were in the computer, but must be spurious... Otherwise it's got like 100+ errors! It integrated well with each car, the app allows you to select the cars profile. The errors are matching the ones the garage are getting with professional gear, they'd already told me to replace the glow plugs and module. Seems a very solid bit of kit. Might be worth noting both my cars are effectively from BMW and around the same age, so I haven't done a hugely varied sample. NOTE: this is effectively a review of the Car Scanner app (free), which is very good, as well as the OBD device. You can see things like engine temp, etc, etc. Apparently, you can leave this device in and have live data as your driving, that's not what I'm doing though. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using this OBD2 scanner for a few days now and it works well for basic functions. It connects quickly, it reads/clears fault codes without issues. Live data for engine parameters like RPM, coolant temp, and O2 sensors is also available and helpful. However, I wasn’t able to access any information related to the air conditioning system — no compressor status, refrigerant pressure, or anything A/C-specific. It also seems to lack more advanced diagnostics like fuel trim data. Overall, it’s a solid tool if you just need to check engine codes and monitor basic live data. But if you're looking for deeper diagnostics or HVAC-related info, this scanner might be too limited.

Grâce à cette prise, ma Nissan Leaf me donne un tas d'informations sur l'état de ma batterie. Je sais même combien de charges rapides et lentes elle a subit pendant 7 années. Et je vois l'état de chaque cellule. Connexion en Bluetooth immédiate. Il faut évidemment un logiciel.

2008年式Chrysler300で使用中。設定も無く、車両側OBDに挿して携帯とBT接続するだけなので簡単です。対応アプリはいくつかあるようですが、私はCar Scannerを使用しています。重宝しています。
