Better sleep, less trips to the bathroom
This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I have acid reflux frequently and sleeping on the wedged pillow was not comfortable since Iโm a side sleeper. So I rarely ever used it. I was having problems with coughing at night when I go to bed with stomach acid coming up into my throat irritating my esophagus. Since Iโve been sleeping on my mattress elevator, Iโve not had that problem. I got the 7 inch incline and was afraid it was going to feel like I was being tipped out of bed, but I canโt even tell itโs elevated. Iโm very comfortable when I lay down and no longer coughing as I try to go to sleep. The biggest surprise to me was my trip to the bathroom every hour or two has stopped! My bladder used to feel like it was full and I would go to the bathroom about every two hours sometimes more. I was very uncomfortable, but since Iโve had the incline, I donโt feel the urgency to go to the bathroom or the uncomfortable feeling in my bladder. I think I get up once in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I donโt have that feeling of a full bladder every couple of hours like I used to when in reality I barely had to potty. That was worth the price of the mattress elevator alone. When I put the mattress elevator under my regular mattress, I noticed no odor in it. Some of the comments made me wonder if people had put it on top of the mattress and then complained. I was a bit concerned about sliding down the bed, but that has not been a problem. However, I would not use satin sheets and a satin nightgown, the thought of that makes me laugh. Satan sheets is a good idea for the times when you get those guests that just donโt want to leave.

Acid Reflux Relief
Under Bed 7-Inch Incline Foam Support - Riser for Acid Reflux, This incline foam support works exactly as advertised. It lifts the head of the bed just enough to ease acid reflux and improve sleep quality. The foam is sturdy, doesnโt compress too much, and fits neatly under the frame. Setup takes a little effort, but the results are worth it. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with nighttime reflux.

Helps some issues, but has caused others.
We bought this to help reduce acid reflux, help with breathing issues, and dizziness (inner ear issues). Raising the head of our bed was not an option so this was a great alternative. It DOES help with acid reflux, reduces snoring, and has almost completely cleared up the dizziness. However, the rise is so substantial that getting in bed is a challenge and it's easy to fall out when reaching for the night stand! In hindsight I wish we would have bought the 5 inch rise instead of the 7 inch. But when we read the reviews people said the 5 inch was too subtle and wished they'd gotten the 7 inch so that's why we opted for the higher rise. We figured our weight would squash it down to 5 inches haha! Not so! It keeps its full rise. We did not see in the description that you need to pull this product out of the packaging and let it fluff up for several hours before putting it under your mattress. We were doing this at bedtime and did not wait several hours. We put it under our mattress straight away and it didn't seem to matter, so take that for what it's worth. It's very soft! Add comfort to your mattress for sure! Our queen size came in two twin size pieces. Overall I'd say it's a good product for sure, it takes some getting use to. We've had it for a couple weeks now and are finally settling in. We do slide down the hill a bit in the night!

YES! 100 TIMES - YES!!! So much better than a wedge pillow!!!
First of all, I was pretty pissed when this first arrived and only half of it was in the box! I got the queen, which comes in two pieces. I sent a message thru Amazon to seller - and it wasn't very nice. Short and harsh - because I was pissed! This was on a Sunday so I was surprised to get a response that same day. They apologized and said they would take care of it. They shipped the other piece the very next day and I had it within 2 days! So customer service gets an A+ from me!! This thing is a little pricey, but so far, it's worth every penny! I've been dealing with acid reflux for years and wedge pillows just don't work for me. I used a wedge for years, but I would normally slide off of it and end up with acid reflux multiple times per night. Plus, I'm a side sleeper, which is hard to do on a wedge. I would end up a lot of mornings with a kink in my neck from sleeping in the wrong position. And my doctor told me with the wedge, I was bending my body right where my problem is - making it worse. This mattress elevator is so nice because it goes between the box spring and mattress - so I get to sleep like normal again on just my mattress with my pillows! I got the 7" and it's perfect. It takes a little to get used to, but after using a wedge pillow, getting used to this was a piece of cake. I was concerned that it would get smashed because I have a huge ultra plush mattress - very thick and very heavy. Plus I'm a larger person... It might compress slightly, but not enough to matter. My only problem was my bed was already pretty high before adding this - and I'm short - so it makes it harder getting in and out of bed. I had to put a little single-step stool by the head of my bed to aid getting up onto the bed! And this this stays in place. The mattress elevator has not shifted since placing it, my mattress has not slid at all, and I have not slid at all. I am very pleased with this purchase! I would recommend to anyone with acid reflux!

Best option for reflux relief, stays put
I was skeptical that this would work, but I've been using it for over a year and love it. Much better than using those risers under the bed frame legs or a half length wedge. I no longer need reflux meds because of this product. Highly recommend

An expensive and frustrating experience
I bought this mattress elevator to help my bad back stiffness when I wake up. I sleep in a recliner and it does help with some of the stiffness but near impossible to sleep on my side. I will say the product is very well made and fit our queen size bed perfectly. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. Sleeping at a downward angle without any support for your waist and knees causes you to roll sideways and I found myself near the foot of the bed when I woke. I contacted the manufacture and they agreed to a refund less shipping charges. Also they offered to send me a pre-paid UPS shipping label and they would deduct the shipping charge from the purchase price and credit me for the difference. Sounds okay until you try and ship it back. The foam pieces arrived shrink wrapped and triple their size after you remove the plastic covering. No possible way to get even one of the pieces back in the shipping container. I rolled them up and tightly as I could, wrapped them with some of that stretch plastic material and the box size I needed was about 4x the size of the original shipping box. No one stocks shipping boxes 40"x32"x24". I was able to find some places that would custom make a cardboard box for about $90! Yikes! The mattress elevators cost $129.99. Minus the cost of the box and $20.00 shipping leaves me less than $20. No wonder Avana was so willing to refund my money....no one ever does it! As the saying goes, "Caveat Emptor" . Next time I'll know better.

Great support at the right angle.
I bought a wedge from another company for a few dollars less but had to return it because it wasn't dense enough to support my mattress and it was all out of shape with some areas too thin in the middle and almost non existent at the bottom. I returned it and bought this one from Avana. This is some sold foam and it hold my memory foam mattress with ease along with my wife and I tipping the scales at over 200 lbs each. Glad I returned the other one, this one is stable and well made and even all the way from top to bottom.

Excellent
Good quality. Satisfied with purchase. It has maintained shape despite heavy weight (200lbs) on bed. Comes in 2 pieces (lengthwise). I purchased this item because it is recommended for patients with autonomic dysfunction/POTS. Thanks to this item I no longer have frequent bathroom trips in the night! If you have autonomic dysfunction I suggest using risers at the head of the bed before purchasing this item in order to adjust to sleeping with the entire bed on an angle. It took a long time for me to get used to it and I had to raise the head of the bed slowly over a period of many months before I purchased the mattress elevator.

Easy to install under a mattress because it is comes in 2 pieces
A nice cover on the memory foam. Well packed, very quick to unroll and after a two hours of expansion time it was ready for placement under our mattress. We have slept on it for the past 2 nights and it is a very comfortable slope for both my wife and I. There is little or no odour from the foam. I previously used a foam wedge that was only 3 feet long as a pillow for help with my indigestion and the full length pad is a huge improvement for comfort. Very pleased with the purchase.

Seems to help.
It's hard to know for sure if it's helping when I'm being careful in other ways. I do find that my neck muscles seem to have tightened up after using it, front and back and I sometimes wake up with a slight headache. But I'm still using the incline pad.

Can't complain
Hmmm, what to say about this after six months. I don't have any condition that requires this, but I find that if my head is higher, I get less mucus blocking my nose at night. 7" is quite the boost, let me tell you, so you will need to get a little used to it. Moving around while sleeping occasionally will make you sink down the mattress a little, so you'll need to pull yourself up now and then, but probably not often. But overall, I can't complain. It is very much as advertised. As others have mentioned, make sure the two pieces stay together for best results (otherwise you'll start rutting your mattress). And be prepared for some oxidization discoloration after a few months. But hey, it's for function, not aesthetics! Was it worth the money? Maybe. For people who need it for a health condition, I expect it's a good idea. You only need to buy it once and it's good for pretty much any bed you buy.
