A ProtectaClear 12 oz. net weight aerosol can is an easy way to protect metal with tough protection. Use for Jewelry, Automobile Trim, or other small metals with intricate parts (Covers about 60 square feet with one coat, most projects require 2 coats). The ProtectaClear Aerosol has a very fine spray tip. Seal & protect metal from tarnish, corrosion & oxidation and keep the metal looking freshly polished. We do not recommend using Aerosol cans for large areas. With aerosol cans on large areas, it is easy to get thin spots that are not completely protected. When coating larger areas, we suggest using the liquid ProtectaClear. Review: Works great, stinks bad. - Works really well on copper sinks. However, it stinks really bad until it dries. Review: A little bit goes a long way! - I didn't use the EZ Prep, but I did follow the instructions for new stainless steel. The denatured alcohol did leave some streaks, so I was anxious about them, but the coating refreshed the stainless to a solid color. The coating is pretty forgiving, but it can run so touch up before it starts to cure or you'll have a tiny mess. The working time is fair. I was nervous trying it on the grill, but see how it goes. I'll report back if there are issues with heating. Because of the odor, you definitely want to use this outside. I purchased the 16 oz kit and it covered a 42 inch fire pit, grill, fire pit lid, and one stainless outdoor kitchen door. I'd say that I have half of a can left. Get a good brush and you'll be fine.

Best Product Ever!!!!
This is the best product I have found to protect the metals in jewelry making. It leaves a nice shinning coat and metals do not tarnish or rust. It is expensive but is worths each penny. Easy to use. Just follow the instructions from the manufacturer and that’s it. I recommend this product for any metal that has to be protected.

It's very clear and easy to apply
The appearance is much better than spray lacquer and it's far less sensitive to heat and humidity during application. It's really easy to apply and if you mess up a spot you can remove that and spray on some more. Read the directions and don't shake it. My only complaint is the price, but I likely used far too much while getting the hang of it. Thankfully, it looks great even with a very thick coat.
