Sturdy, high quality

I do not regret this purchase. After buying another one some time back which barely lasted a year, I became super picky about my replacement purchase. I'd seen so many reviews of other products where the stand would tilt over, or break quickly so I held back for a good while until I came across this one.This one is sturdy, looks professional, stands tall and hold my phone well, as well as my ring light.I've kept it set up and keep it in a corner of the room is it doesn't take up much space.It has some weight to it, and of course, being stainless steel, it would. But it is sturdy and I'm glad I came across this one. No more plastic stands.

These stainless steel stands, with metal fittings (rather than plastic) have a quality feel to them.Being stainless steel they will be ideal for use in all environments.They are solid without being too heavy.Whilst not mentioned in the description mine came with the spring loaded buffers to reduce the shock if a clamp is loosened and the light drops downward unintentionally.When purchased in pairs, particularly when on offer, these are very good value.

I bought the 220cm model. With a stable leg configuration it reaches a few cm over 200; 202 or 203. Beyond that the legs move too close together as you raise the height and so it loses stability to hold anything substantial like a softbox and strobe. The only thing I'd put on it at that height is a single speedlite and no modifier.I reported this to the vendor and to be fair they have taken an interest. I've sent them photos of the stand at full 220cm extension and at its more usable configuration of about 200cm.At the same time as I ordered this 220cm model I ordered the Neewer 260cm model. That arrived within days. This one has taken weeks. The 260cm does genuinely reach 260 with the legs splayed to a stable distance. As well, I've read lots of comments about this 220cm model where the threads on the aluminium tightening screws strip, so I bought two M5 'wing knob nuts' (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B079DDL3HT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) from Amazon to replace the ones that came with it. They are not as attractive and very small but they do the job perfectly well and remove the fear of failing at a critical moment.Having said all that, it works fine; the ceiling of my studio is at about 227cm so even at 200cm this stand is tall enough for use in there and with a 400 strobe and softbox on it it's plenty stable enough up to 200cm tall. While the legs are not much longer than those on a cheap lightstand (and a LOT shorter than the 260cm model) the pole is a lot more substantial and does not bend like the pole on my cheap lightstand does if elevated with a softbox and light on it.I'll probably keep it for the sake of 27 quid. Not worth the effort of returning it. However, the 260cm model is a lot more stable and solid; if you really do need to reach a genuine, usable 220 with modifiers and lights on board then I'd recommend paying the difference and opting for the 260cm model, which is also a lot more receptive to sand bags because of the longer legs. I'll likely get another one of those in due course.

Bought this as I need something heavy duty for my lighting gear in my small studio. It's great - plenty of weight on it so not worried at all when young children and dogs come into the studio. I was going to put it away each time, but it looks so stylish up so is now a permanent feature!

Excellent sturdy stand that easily takes the weight of my light and huge soft box. Great investment. I think this will last forever.

I've used much some pretty bad cheap stands - this holds its own against pretty much everything that isn't a 'proper' light stand. For £35, you get a sturdy stand that's probably about half as strong as a C-Stand. If you're using small lights (anything up to a 1k will be fine, maybe a 2k with sandbags) and can forego the superior stability, they're smaller and lighter than their bigger brothers. Not bad!

Me ha venido de perlas. Tenía que buscar un trípode resistente en el que poder poner mi octabox con el foco ya que en trípodes de menor calidad se doblaban y daba la sensación de que caería a la mínima.Al llegar la caja ya notas que tiene un peso la mar que decente para poder soportar material pesado. Lleva un pequeño muelle en cada varilla para evitar que al bajarlas caigan de golpe con el peso, además que ayuda a no ejercer demasiada fuerza para levantarlas con todo el equipo.Resiste y no parece que vaya a quebrarse, muy satisfecho

かっこいい！！！ライトスタンドなんて何でもいいと思ってたけど、開封後一目見てテンション上がるカッコ良さでした。ステンレスの輝きも安っぽくなくて無骨でタフなんだけど小綺麗さもあって、フフッとニヤついてしまうようなそんなカッコ良さがありとても気に入りました。新しく買ったGodoxのストロボ用に購入しましたが、手持ちのやつ全部これでいいんじゃないってくらい。ストロボとランタン型の大きめのソフトボックス付けても耐荷重的にも余裕で問題ないです。本体の重さもそこまで重すぎず、全然許容範囲です。ただ、ケースが同梱じゃないのだけちょっとネック。ケースくらいセットにしてもいいんじゃないって言いたいけど、まぁ私は三脚はスタンドくらいは裸で保管・移動させるのでも全然OKな方なんで、いいけれども。でもせっかくのピカピカのステンなので、早々に傷付いたり複数持ってて保管に困る〜って方はやっぱりケースはいるよね。ちなみに、専用ケースが別売りで公式から販売してますが、ケースだけで3600円くらいでした。
