Higher quality worth the $$$
Oh my gosh. I didn’t realize how important the quality of the lightbulb is to the feeling of a room until I splurged and spent some money on these high quality bulbs. Completely transformed the feel of my bathroom from “operating room” to “luxury spa”. They work flawlessly with my Lutron Sunnata fader switch. Very happy.

Seem like great bulbs
Used to get my LED light bulbs from the retail store that starts with W, but the quality was crap. They claimed their "great value" bulbs would last anywhere from 9 to 13 years, yet we were lucky if we even got 3. (Our old compact fluorescent bulbs lasted longer!)So out of frustration, I decided to look elsewhere. These bulbs were a touch more expensive, and yet as soon as I pulled them out of the box, the build quality just felt better. The brightness was brighter than expected and look great outside (they are our exterior lights). The bulbs haven't gone through a winter yet, so perhaps I'll be updating this review some time in the future, but so far, I have confidence these bulbs will last longer than 3 years.

Great replacements for my own/old 9w br30s
Around six years ago I got a bunch of nine watt (TCP BR657) BR30 LEDs and they were okay. They were probably on for 2500-3k hours/year. So after at least 15k hours, a few (4 of 10 bulbs) of them started failing (all within like weeks of each other) and needed replacement. I wanted a bit more light and this is a well known brand, so I opted for these "100w bulbs". I've noticed no flickering, these are not in a dimmable fixture so I'm not sure how they would do in that situation, and there's no noise that I can hear. The light temperature looks correct and I do not know about the lifespan yet when the first one goes out I will update this review

Too yellow for my taste
The color is strongly yellow at 2,700. I'll replace with something closer to 4,000. Otherwise, they work well and are nice and bright.

If I need more of these in this size, this would be the brand to buy....
Just peachy keen....the only little problem that I had was the tabs in the bulb sockets needed a bit of prying up so they would make a better contact with the base of the bulb. They seemed to be a bit flatter than the old incandescent lights and not making a good connection.OH, advice to take caution, turn power OFF before sticking a screwdriver etc inside the fixture's socket if you absolutely have to go in there. If that doesn't work, further inspection may warrant a new socket replacement. It's an option you may be able to do without buying an entire new fixture.Cheers and have a shockless lifestyle - always with the power off at the breaker panel...
