More fiddly to heat up then standard wheat bags due to having to turn them upside down during heating, however they seem to hold their heat a lot longer. Do be careful when heating though, they may not feel all that warm when you hold it so put your hand IN the fleece and test the gel bag itself, it can take a minute for the warmth to come through and you could risk over heating it it you gauge its actually heat through the fleece wrap.

Waste of money. Never seemed very hot, the thermal pack inside was boiling hot but hardly any heat came through the cloth bag. Kept it simply because it was easier to use than filling a hot water bottle. However after following the instructions to the letter, it started leaking after just 9 weeks of use. For £12.99 I would expect a longer life. I didn't expect it to last for years but thought I might get at least one year out of it. Will go back to the traditional hot water bottle.

My daughter takes this to school for tummy aches (hot water bottles are against health and safety rules these days). It works well and stays heated for a good while. Takes quite a while in the microwave. I tend to do in short bursts as I was concerned about some reviews saying it exploded but no issues as yet.

Much smaller than I had anticipated (smaller in size than an A4 sheet) but it does a world of good sitting on my lumber spine whether I'm at work or home and there is no awful smell you sometimes get from these things. Good value but I would have liked it to be a little bigger.

This is a fantastic idea. It is a good size and stays warm for hours as long as it has contact with the body. This is the second one that I have purchased. The first one I purchased in pink for myself and this one in purple for my mother.We both suffer from various illnesses which involve pain. We both have lower back pain at night and this really helps a lot.I have fibromyalgia and rheumatoid Arthritis so with the hottie being flexible it means I can put it where it can help me most
