Half way though the bottle and it doesn't upset my stomach or intestines. unlike some of the Iron salt supplements have taken in the past

I rarely ever write Amazon reviews, but these really work. My ferritin level was at 4, and I had brain fog and fatigue 24/7. My doctor prescribed the traditional ferrous sulfate tablets, which my stomach cannot tolerate at all. I gave these a try, and I felt a difference within the first week. After only taking them for one month, my ferritin is now up to 21. If you’re struggling with low iron or ferritin, don’t take the awful tablets they give you that tear your stomach up. Just get these, trust me. They also do not turn your stool black.

Way better on digestion but I can’t really comment on absorption. Regular iron definitely takes a tougher toll on your digestion.

This is not gentle on the GI system, as advertised. It caused me GI problems such as upset stomach, bloating, digestive pain, cramps, and diarrhea. I used it once (one tablet) and had those symptoms and side effects. No better than regular iron supplement. I don't recommend it. Won't buy it again. Also, it is very pricey. Waste of money as I have 59 of 60 tablets left over and unreturnable. They need to offer a starter bottle with fewer tablets to see it is tolerable, and maybe offer lower potency tablets. Also, they are transitioning from old formula to new formula with fewer binders and no red dye, but there is no way to specify you want the new formula. They shouldn't be selling the old version without specifying you want the new version. They just want to get rid of their old supply. The bottle doesn't say it is the new version or the old. No way to tell except to compare ingredients online. Even the new formula contains a whole large list of ingredients, in addition to heme iron.

These seem to have helped maintain my iron levels. While in the hospital, my iron was so low they had to give me a transfusion of whole blood, then another of just the iron componeent. I've taken 3 of these every day since then and feel good with lots of energy. It took about 2 weeks, so don't expect a quick boost, it takes time.

The only supplement I’ve purchased on Amazon that actually has a noticeable difference in bloodwork

This is the second time Im buying this as it works to increase low iron levels.

Was recommended to take iron pills later in my pregnancy and this is the brand recommend by my OB. So far, seems to be helping with energy levels. Haven't gotten new blood work to see if levels improved so will update. So far, not having any issues with the pills (i.e. nausea). Will certainly buy again.
