Absolutely necessary to fortify your distilled water machine. These bags that filter the water are part of the process. I like that they are made of activated charcoal. They work just fine!

These activated charcoal packets are smaller than those supplied with the VEVOR steam distiller, which are "oversized" to stuff into the spout so these might not work (or I might have to use 2 packets instead of a single packet.) At any rate this is a system that should have something like a slide-in drawer and not just a space that's filled to provide the final filtration. It's already a little "Micky Mouse" and I doubt if I really need to use the activated charcoal unless I'm distilling and filtering Swamp Water to take care of any bad taste or smell. Using water from the kitchen faucet is a lot safer and cleaner, so it's up to my own discretion to use or not to use the charcoal packets. If need be, I can make larger packets by combining 2 or 3 and already have a large jar of aquarium charcoal and it would be a simple matter to make much larger bags. Worth getting this kit anyway, just in case.

I can tell the difference with these filters because the water has a slight taste and smell. I just changed the filter and cleaned the purifier. I will not keep using them. I will actually buy new filters. Too bad because there are so many in a box. I will definitely not buy these again.

These were perfect for my home distiller. I liked it that they came in a cardboard container and not in plastic.

Poorly packaged and box ripped, contents of sachets leaking out of box and box covered in charcoal dust. Sachets not fit for use in my water distiller when it was stated they were compatible for my type of distiller?

These packs are smaller than original ones that came with the distiller. Maybe they will work just seems like your getting ripped off!
