Well made vent cover with included optional mesh
This vent cover works great and includes an optional mesh component. I used the 4.5 x 4.5 size to cover a 4” circular hole in drywall. Works great. The screw covers don’t seem to snap into place no matter which screws I use, but that’s not really a big deal unless you’re concerned about concealing the screw heads (which I don’t care about). Great price and great function.

Perfect fit
I'm amazed that the screw holes on these line up perfectly with the screws in the soffit vents that were falling apart from 10 years of weathering. These are a decent replacement screen cover to keep the bugs and birds out. Screwhead covers are a nice touch.

Well wrapped and dimensionally stable.
These vent covers met my expectations for quality and for my use that has no ductwork in my project of a rabbit hutch. The rabbits don't care what they look like for they are just happy to have ventilation while they make decorated eggs for delivery. 😉 I cared about the size and appearance and they are great. I was puzzled by the graphic that mentioned covering the screw heads with "covers" only until I received the shipment. What covers I mused? A-Ha! I said. The "covers" are what I know as plugs that fit the hole where the screws reside and just pop out to allow access to the hole. They do cover screw heads.

Came delivered with spilled maple syrup on it.
When I opened the box, this plastic product was wrapped in a sealed cellophane wrapper. I noticed some type of liquid film between the vent and wrap. Once opened, the film of viscous liquid smelled, and has the same texture as maple syrup.. no idea why there was maple syrup on this product.
