This is a great light for when you're having meetings on the laptop. It has a number of brightness settings so you can get the right tone easily. Very easy to use and fits onto the edge of a laptop. It doesn't weigh much either so easy to carry around and is compact.

I got this at £15.99 It is virtually perfect for my needs. - Multiple brightness settings, so good to use at different times of day. - Multiple light colours, though I do only use one, but I can see why the others would be useful for different streaming setups especially if you have other light sources going on. Positives: - Super easy to setup, plug it into a USB port and you're good to go. - The Control while attached by wire to the light is quite long, so you can position it near to you for easy changes without needing to go to the light itself. Useful when I'm streaming. Two marginal negatives - It doesn't sit very well on the back of my monitor, it is 'balanced', I have a pretty standard monitor so I presume many people will face this. Only a marginal negative, as well the monitor shouldn't really be moved anyway, but have had a few falls when I've knocked my desk - The light at times gives off a noticeable amount of heat, so face can get uncomfortably warm, I'll probably be thankful for that in Winter, but during summer it has "occasionally" been uncomfortable, nothing a fan or open window can't sort. I see it's currently priced at £19.99, so a little more than what I paid. I think I'd still be happy and give the same review and stars at that price as well.

Small and powerful. And convenient in that it can be attached to the top of the computer screen thereby freeing up desk space and the light is on your face - not coming from the side or from behind. Handy piece of kit.

Wish I'd got this years ago. The different light settings is useful as I am not always in the same place when I us the light ring

Worked relatively well for a one off online podcast. I looked brighter on the screen. However I also wanted it as a light to take photos and only works when plugged in to laptop - is not ideal in the kitchen for this reason

This LED ring light was an absolute game changer for my work life. My desk is situated against a wall and away from the window. I always struggled to have my face be seen on camera, often resorting to my mobile phone's camera to help the camera "see" me. This light has three light colour settings (warm, cold and neutral) and it also allows controlling the intensity of light via an appropriate switch. It's USB-fed and made of decent quality material. It's light and easy to transport when travelling. My only gripe with it is that it gets easily knocked over if the desk or monitor is slightly pushed because it's light and doesn't have a good balance on top of the monitor. That notwithstanding, I highly recommend it to anyone with a similar problem as mine.

I like the variable brightness and size. No flicker (but i've only used a few times). You cannot plug into computer USB, but in the wall with a brick - it's in the instructions. So, because of this, it is not portable unless you have an outlet by you. I don't like that the control switch is behind my monitor because of the length of the cord. I use an apple 27" desktop and the monitor is thick - too thick for other lights - I love this one because it accommodates all sizes. You can also stand it on a desk. The ability to tilt it downwards, would light up your work area if you were filming a demonstration. I also love that it isn't so bright as to give you 'welders flash' - I use a medium intensity.

Pro: 1) You can control all the settings on the switch on the cable which is very convenient. 2) Light looks good, you can change the brightness and color to match day or night. 3) You can put it on your laptop or on your desk. The stand they give you is versatile. Cons: 1) Light a bit strong if it's on your laptop, even at the lowest setting, but you can put some Kleenex over it to diffuse the light. It doesn't get hot, so the Kleenex trick is an option. It the light itself was more diffused this wouldn't be necessary. 2) I wish there was a way to charge this light, but it has to be plugged into a USB to use it. But the cable is long enough that I can have a portable charger on the desk and have this plugged in. Overall, decent light for the price ($27 at the time of review).

Quite practical, easy to set up. Allows you to chose a light intensity that fits your purpose. The build is neat and pristine. The swivel allows you to face the light to your preferred direction.
