Does not feel greasy shortly afterwards. Dries well and has very little smell. Color is really pretty, not orange bit natural tan looking and buildable as well.

So I’ve used the Jeurgens (sp?) gradual tanning lotion, that kind usually takes upwards of a couple days-week to really notice an effect. I figured this Tanologist lotion would be similar, but it actually shows up really quickly, same day noticeable color. To me it leans more towards instant tanner, and it does sadly get streaky and orangey like most instant tanners. Should be used sparingly in all the usual spots- elbows, feet, knees, hands/wrists, and be sure to wash hands very well after using or they will be orange.The smell is very noticeable after a couple hours, at first it smells great like tropical, then segues into that familiar DHA smell.As for the firming aspect, I haven’t noticed very much difference, maybe a slight reduction of noticeable cellulite on my thighs, but it’s no holy grail.Overall it’s a pretty good tanner and I’d buy it again, probably in the lighter shade so it’s not so noticeably “fake”.

I was pleasantly surprised by Tanologist Firming Daily Glow Body Lotion. I love that this is a gradual tanner and it can be built up. I do not notice and streaking or splotchiness when using this lotion. I notice a slight splash of color after one application. I will usually apply it again the next day and that is when I notice a fair bit of color. I will say that this lotion does have that self-tanner scent by the end of the day. It is very light and tolerable though. From my experience, the color fades beautifully and does not look bad when it begins to wear off. I always apply a small bit of lotion on my elbows, knees and ankles before application just to prevent color from gathering up on my more dry area. The color also looks amazing on hands and feet. I always wash my hands immediately after application and have never really had an issue with my hands discoloring. This lotion is fantastic at giving me a tan color and never turning me orange! It also does not transfer. I wear a lot of white and also have white bed sheets and have never seen any color transfer. Overall, this tanning product is absolutely amazing and I would hightly recommend it.For reference, I have used Jergens wet skin gradual tanner in the past and was never blown away by it due to it transferring and sometimes the color would look splotchy. I find that the Tanologist daily tanner is way better.I also can not speak to the firming claim due to me not having used this product long-term and also I am someone who workouts daily, so I would probably not notice any benefits to begin with.

Effective but don’t like the smell. Too much like cocoa butter - was hoping for something less “sweet” and more “clean”

I LOVE THIS TANNER. It does have that tanner smell but out of all the brands I tried, this brand is the best smelling one I have ever used. I use an express tanner once every 1-2 weeks and then apply this daily so I always have a perfect tan. I have never had a problem with streaks with this lotion. I love this lotion and highly recommend it!!

If you looking for fast color this is for you. I was expecting a gradual build up over daily use, I used it last night and this morning and boy do I have some color. This is a great product and smells so good. I’m glad I will personally only have to use it once or twice a week.

This is the best gradual tanning lotion I have ever used. The lotion is very moisturizing so my skin doesn’t have that dry flaky look that can come from some tanning products. My skin is soft, moisturized and even. The products spreads easily and evenly and dries very quickly too. When you wake up in the morning you will have this amazing glow and color. No transfer on the sheets or my clothes. It smells amazing as well.I can’t say enough good things about this gradual tanning lotion 10 stars!

One of my absolute favourite tanning lotions. Nice depth of colour after just one use and it smells incredible. Super hydrating and maintains an even tan.
