Osprey Ultralight Collapsible Stuff Waist Pack

I love this thing for taking my dog for walks/training. I put the dogs ball, leash, treats, my phone, car key and wallet in it. Very sturdy but also light weight. When empty it reverses into a pocket size pouch.

Very well made and durable, even though this pack is very light weight. It takes up very little space when folded into it's little pouch. When in use, it easily fits phone, keys, snacks, lip balm, and more, all at once. The material is thin, though, so it can look bulky if you pack a lot. But the material is strong, and being thin is what makes it light weight. Love it!

I recently purchased the Osprey Ultralight Stuff Waist Pack and I'm absolutely delighted with it! This waist pack is the epitome of convenience and efficiency. I have a couple of Osprey products and like those, this is well constructed. Fabric, webbing, hardware, and stitching are all quality. It’s comfortable on the waist and is very light.There were two things that I struggled with. One was I wanted the belt to be a bit longer for cross-body wear. I’m 5’7” 195# and it’s not like I can’t wear it that way or that it was uncomfortable, it was that the pack sits a bit high for my preference. A thinner, shorter person would allow the pack to sit lower in that configuration. I know it’s not designed for cross-body wear so I can’t fault Osprey for this one bit. The other thing was that the interior pocket that the pack stores into needs to be a little bit bigger. I twice unpacked and packed it up and both times it was a challenge to get it back into the pocket. I felt like I would tear out the zipper or something if I wasn’t being super careful. I tried a different method the second time and it really didn’t help much if at all. I really want to keep this but these use-cases are going to be ongoing issues for me so I’ve got to send it back.

I take this with me anytime I travel instead of my purse. I'm able to put it in my suitcase and then be able to bring my osprey backpack as my item to place under the seat. I whip this out anytime I will be walking around the city. I keep it in front across my chest so I'm not worried about someone stealing from it. Fits my bulky wallet and phone easily.

Okay, so it is a fine quality product. The bag itself seemed to be the quality I’ve come to expect from Osprey... but I only get “Fanny Packs” to wear cross body and the waist straps on this one are just really short. I’m not even sure an overweight person could fit it around their waist.
