Cheaply made, hard to install, no instructions; at least Amazon took a return
I broke the first of two of these latches because I didn't properly align the two parts. Problem is, there were no instructions for installing it, and I can't see through my closet door. The all-plastic assembly is, moreover, cheaply made, and it didn't take a lot of misalignment to break it. I did get the second included latch installed correctly, but it doesn't feel sturdy when closing. If this one breaks, I'll definitely look for a sturdier replacement.

Didn’t work for me
These latches hold well but they didn’t work for my application in my van, the weight of the door would cause the latch to disengage and my door would swing open.If your looking for a latch for a van cabinet I’m not sure this is for you, I have yet to find a replacement but I’m looking for something with a manual release and not spring loaded like this
