i absolutely loved this book. it felt so personal to me and it honestly just feels so nostalgic and sentimental to read this book. i would recommend this to everyone i know. as a queer person, i am so happy to find some other queer authors, and michaela angemeer is just perfect. i'm excited to purchase more of their books, since this was my first time buying one.

I did not like the flow of the poetry. But the style is different and poetry does come in many different forms.Overall the book itself was very well organized and each piece definitely fit exactly where it felt like it should. It made the book itself flow very nicely.Definitely a book I’d recommend to someone trying to better embrace the pieces of themselves that they don’t know how to accept yet.

Compared to all Michaela’s books this was the quickest lightest and quickest read.However it was still honest, passionate, and impactful. I felt really connected to the poems about childhood trauma and self love.The different sections were organized to tell a story of growth and acceptance.It gives “Girl Power” and “Love is Love” vibes (in the best ways)Bonus: the little pieces of art sprinkled throughout are so cute!

i couldn’t help but smile throughout this entire collection. Even the self-reflection pieces made me feel safe and whole. The author takes us on a journey with them as they fall in love, and set boundaries in order to create a new & healthy environment for themselves to grow in.For all the queer lovers out there and those feeling lost, get ready for a gentle reminder that you are valid and so is the way you love - because that’s what I felt when I closed this book. I felt seen, I felt heard, and I felt like it was all going to be okay.

Reading this was like being in a field of daisies while it's pouring rain, looking up at the sky, and still finding a reason to smile before being rewarded with summer sun.
