I bought 4 of these speaker mounts, and they did not fit the Sonos play 5 properly; it would be dangerous to use this bracket mount on a wall as the speaker is heavy,

This is a satisfactory quality bracket. I was concerned that it might be too flimsy as it was about half the cost of others. It works just fine on the Sonos 5 as long as you use a stud for your anchor bolts. It arrived in a timely manor plus was well packaged. One hint: if you're using the Sonos 5 as an independent speaker, these brackets are fine. If you intend to use two speakers, Sonos suggests you mount the speakers verticaly so they are left and right channel for surround sound. These brackets don't appear to work in that position.
