Would use something else.
I received the item and plugged in the 5 hard drives I'd purchased separately. Hooked it up to the computer with USB, saw things looked like they were up and running, and then created a RAID5 array. So far so good.Then, I went into windows Disk Management to create a formatted volume. No bueno. It sat trying to initialize for a while, then the USB connection mysteriously dropped. Tried again. Same thing. Very frustrated because I need this to function for work...things shouldn't be so hard in 2016.
